After six months Byun Baekhyun found himself standing in front of the man behind all the tears he cried in his sleepless nights, but luck seem to be on his side this time because right now the one who's crying was his ex boyfriend...
-"Kyungsoo stop walking back and forth." I walked toward my best friend who couldn't sit still more than three minutes. Right now we're inside the hospital waiting for doctor to come out of the room.
-"I can't. It's almost an hour now and the doctor hasn't come out yet." he sighed.
-"I know but please stop doing that. Look at Yeri, you scared her." I said quietly pointed at our little sister who hasn't moved an inch since Joy left a moment ago. I gave him a small nod and watched as he made his way to his soon to be sister in-law.
-"Yeri-ah, don't worry mom will be ok." Kyungsoo said.
-"Where is Kai? I need him, I'm scared. Where is my brother?" Yeri asked softly, her eyes were full of tears she looked like she's about to break down any time soon.
-"he will be here soon"
-"Yeri!" Kai ran to his sister as soon as he saw us. Yeri stood up immediately when she saw her brother's face and started crying.
-"Oppa.. mom.. she"
-"shh I know, it's ok mom will be ok." He hugged Yeri in his chest tightly and listened to the smaller girl cried.
-"I'm scared *sob* I don't want to lose her like we lost dad. I don't.. *sob* oppa I don't want to lose her like we lost dad that night." Kai let go of Yeri's shaking body and patted her head. He knew the reason why Yeri reacted like that because they lost their dad in a car accident as well.
-"We won't. We won't lose her. Police said it's not really serious she'll be fine so stop crying ok? We can't let mom see you like this when she wakes up right?" Kyungsoo and I watched Kai comforte his sister silently. Kyungsoo stood up from the sit and walked to me with a small smile.
-"And she said she likes you more than Kai, now look at them" He said jokingly, trying to lighten up the mood. I just pouted and pushed his shoulder a bit.
-"She'll be fine right?"
-"Yes. She gave birth to these two stubborn/problematic kids and watched them grow up together as their mother. I sure this is nothing compared to Kai and Yeri's fights in the past 20 years." We stayed like that for a few more minutes until the door finally opened.
-"Doctor is my mom ok?" Kai asked.
-"She has some cuts on her body but she's ok now. I'll check on her again when she wakes up in the morning." We all sighed in relieve.
-"Can we see her now?"
-"Maybe not now she's sleeping. Her body may hurt a lot, please let someone stay with her tonight just in case she wakes up earlier." The doctor said while looking directly at us.. no, not us... just me?
