Chapter 43 Insecurities

Tharn's POV

"Baby, why are you so early?" He is playing loud music already in our room.

"Just sleep a little more." He told me as he walked back and forth from the closet to the bed.

"With that music and your loud footsteps?"

He turned the music off and glared at me.

"Happy?" He asked me-a little grumpy in the morning. I just stood up and kissed him on the lips. Damn good as always.

I turned the music on for him. I don't want to fight over this. "Is Thea awake?"

He nodded.

"I have already prepared her dress as well. I just asked Jane to feed her."
My Type really woke up early. A little excited I guess.

"Baby, you should still be resting. Last night was kinda tiring."

"As if every night to me is not as tiring as last night. You sex monster."

I just laughed at him.

"You should be proud because I am still head over heels for you. You're always the best." I pulled him into a tight hug and I felt his chin resting on my shoulder.

"Don't you ever get tired of me, babe. I'll really cut your thing there." He is looking at my crotch.

"I know you're not gonna do that. I dare you. You'll be more miserable than I am because I cannot make you happy anymore. haha"

"I can always find another guy." He noticed his mistake right away as I gripped his chin forcefully to face me. "I was kidding. Of course, I won't do that, babe." His voice was shaking.

"Now, repeat what you just said earlier," I command.

"I don't dare. You know I always say useless things. Please don't take it seriously."
He's scared again.

It's too early for him to ruin my mood.

"Wake me up after thirty minutes." I asked him to change the topic.

"Yes, babe." He answered nervously. I am not even doing anything yet.

I buried myself again in bed. It is too early. The event will start at 1:00 PM.

I saw him sitting on the corner of the bed. He turned off the music again. He doesn't know I'm observing him.

He was spacing out. Is he really affected that much?

Type's POV

After how many months, I saw him furious with me again. I was thinking about what might happen to me and Thea when he decided to leave us. My mouth is always my problem. It has no filter.
I need to be careful with my words now. I can't afford to lose him.

I brought Thea to her room to play.

"Do you know that I am your real dad? Believe it or not, you're not related to Tharn but he treats you better than I do. So you need to be forever thankful, okay? I swear to you, whatever happens, I am not gonna leave you." I know she can't understand me.

Why am I feeling emotional so early in the morning? I tried to shake off the negative feelings and continued playing with Thea.

After a few more minutes, I heard the door open. I felt warm arms wrapped around me.

"Good morning, baby." He kissed me as if nothing happened earlier. I just faked a smile at him.
"Good morning to my baby the second. Kiss dada." My daughter kissed him and raised her tiny arms for a lift.
