You were having your regular Saturday, chips, soda and overall being a couch potato. This time around, you have someone to be a potato with. And his name is, Naoyasu, Kuguri. He loved being with you and just lounging with you.
"Hey, Y/n, I'm going to the school, I forgot my bag." He said in his regular monotone voice. "Can I join you?" You asked. "Sure, but if we see anyone please don't call me my nickname." He said. "Ball python" you said teasingly. "No." He responded and you two just kept blabbering, it became a joke. The only reason he was called ball python is because, ball pythons are very shy and have a chill demeanour.
You two arrived at the school and looked around. He passed his classroom and grabbed his bag. "Lets go?" He asked. He was then interrupted by a cheerful voice. "Kuguri! Kuguri!" His teammate shouted. "oh, Suguru, what are you doing here?" He responded quietly. "Huh! What did you say?" Suguru said running towards him. He arrived next to Kuguri and wrapped his arm around his neck. "I suspect you are his one and only?" He asked you. "O-Oh, I suppose and I hope." You said smiling. "You know I wonder why you chose this quiet guy and he quite lazy, hahahah!" Suguru snickered while you give him a straight face for disrespecting your boyfriend. Your boyfriend looks away, that triggered it you were about to talk but he started talking again. "But then again, he's totally a keeper, he cannot stop talking about how beautiful your face is and how he loves you so much, he has been getting more and more pumped up lately actually." Suguru said looking at Kuguri. "S-SUguru.." Kuguri was gonna fight back for him exposing him about his fantasies about you but he was interrupted by your silent laughing, it was so genuine, no cheats no nothing. Kuguri pushed the guy off his shoulders and sided with you, looking away blushing. "S-o, Suguru, what have you been doing here?" Your boyfriend asked. "Oh, actually I was practicing with the team, we all kinda accidentally met up here so we thought, why not?" Suguru said. "Come! Kuguri! Lets join them! I can help!" You said excitedly. "S-sure." He agreed.
All of you proceeded to the gym meeting the rest. "Kuguri! Hello!" The boys greeted Kuguri. "OOooh! So this is the owner of the title, "cutie potato pie" I see!" Someone name Kazuma said. Kuguri just looked away, blushing once again. "I suppose that's me! Hello, I am L/n F/n, but please call me Y/n!" You said introducing yourself smiling. Kuguri suddenly snatched you and hugged you from the back, silently giving the team a death stare but not so strong just his normal face but with a different aura. "H-ha, nice to meet you, Y/n." Kazuma said. "You see, Kuguri is protective of his little cutie potato pie! So don't try." Suguru said giving Kuguri a pat on the back. This time Kuguri just shook it off and said, "of course, she's mine." You just smiled looking at Kuguri. "Yes, lets play a match!" Kazuma said getting the team hyped in their regular stay at home clothes, some were wearing shorts, some were wearing sweatpants.
You sat on the gyms bleachers and watched. One time, Kuguri was right in front of the ball but just let it fall. You were in disbelief, you knew you had to do something. "Kuguri!!! You can do it!!! Do it!!!" You shouted as loud as you can and it echoed. Kuguri and the team looked up. Kuguri smiled then started laughing so hard, he started loosing breath. "I love you Y/n!!!!" He shouted back. You smiled and shouted back, "I love you too Kuguri!!!" The match resumed but the rest of the team were so surprised on how he acted. He ended up winning the practice match. Suguru and Kazuma walked away to a corner wiping sweat. "Say, Suguru, when Y/n is here, it's like Kuguri is a different person, hell even he when she is here is a better player than you." Kazuma said. "I don't wanna say that he's better than me, how can he beat the magnificent Suguru Daishou! But yes he's different, he laughed for God's sake!" Suguru said eyeing the two of you.
"y/n, I bet my teammates already found out, when I'm with you, I can do anything." Kuguri thought.
