You tucked yourself in bed, happy to finally rest your eyes and body. After a long day of online class, and staring at a screen all day.
Your eyes lingered around your room, it was dark with light air conditioning. Seemed like it was too comfy to even sleep. True enough, you couldn't get shut-eye. Even if it was, it was for about 5 minutes then you would wake up again. Eventually, you gave up on trying so you just made up scenarios in your head. As if there was some guy sitting beside you on the bed. If someone saw you, it seemed like you were crazy. But either way, it was fun to feel, well, not lonely.
You looked at your imaginary S/o and smiled. It was just a pillow but that was alright. You kissed the pillow goodnight and finally drifted away.
First, your mind took you to an oasis type of place. Overgrown with many colorful flowers and vines. It was calming. In the middle, there was a path that apparently leads to a blue lagoon. You walked down the path it leads you to the lagoon with many swans in it and white daises. As you walk around the lagoon, smelling the nice flowers and looking at the beautiful clouds. You see a boy, a boy with laid blonde hair, with glasses, touching the water. Curious as you were, you ran over there but he ran away as well. Slowly, you two run out of breath. Paused the chasse and you looked around. Somehow it changed the atmosphere. Now it's an abandoned dock, and by that I mean it has no boats nor people, except for the boy.
"Hey!" You shouted as far as you could. He paused. He slowly turned his head towards you. Your heart pumped and pumped.
You saw him and,
IT WAS ED SHEERAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He started singing "Perfect" to you. To your shock, you woke up.
You sat up and grabbed the glass of water beside your bed and gulped it down. Panting, you sighed. "Never in a million years, I thought Id see Ed Sheeran in my dreams." You thought.
'ring.'
Your silent ringtone rang. (who woulda thought??)
"Yuzuru Komaki,
answer or decline?"
"Oh," you picked up the phone and he started with a scream. "What do you want Yuzuru???" You complained. "Heeyyyyy... I uh, had a nightmare." He responded. "mhm, what was it?" You rolled your eyes through the screen. Although you've always had fun with the guy. Just getting up from your dreams to talking to him complain about his nightmares. Never once you two would talk about yours though. But that talk at 3-5 am makes life just pure bliss.
"Y/n, I've never heard about your dreams...did you have one?" He finally asked. "Well," You smiled because now you could tell him. "It was ed Sheeran the whole time! I thought it was you." You said.
"So, I'm the man of your dreams?" He asked.
