Terushima x Reader : Joke

Soulmate Au~

It was said as soon as you turn 16, you will slowly reconnect with your soulmate. You could write on your wrist and it would appear on your soulmates wrist.

"Happy birthday to you!" "Happy birthday day to you!" "Happy birthday, happy birthdayyy." "Happy birthday to you!"
Y/n's relative sing. "Make a wish!" Her cousin shouts. "Sure sure... hmm well..I'm not gonna say." Y/n says closing her eyes granting her wish. "And I'm done! Lets get thisss partayyyy started!" Y/n says raising her fists.

A few months before.~~~
"Hey! Terushima!" Y/n says racing down the stairs of her building. "Oh hey Y/n!" He says stopping. waiting for her. "I heard today's your 16 birthday!" Y/n says patting his shoulder. "Yeah it is." He says smiling at Y/n. "Sooo... did you try writing on your wrist to find your soulmate?" Y/n says looking up on him. "Yeah, I tried as soon as I woke up.. I don't think she's 16 yet." He says. "Oh well lets hope for the best." Y/n says patting his back.

"Soo.. y/n what did you wish for y/n?" Terushima asks the birthday girl. "I wished that my soulmate is funny and kind!" Y/n says smiling. "You really like the idea of love do you?" Terushima says rubbing his chin. "As if you even have a goatee! But I just generally wish hes kind." Y/n says. "Definitely, if not then maybe it's really not meant to be." Terushima says as he pulls you into a hug. "Y-Yeah, Anyways since were on about soulmates, has she or he responded?" Y/n asks. "It's a she! I'm not gay! Besides that, no she hasn't. How young is she!" He asks frustrated. "What if I get my soulmate faster than you?" Y/n says in a teasing manner. "Impossible! Once he sees you he'd never want you as your soulmate!" He says looking away. "Happy birthday day to me!" Y/n says in a sarcastic manner. "A-ah, sorry I was harsh." He says grabbing your hand. "Sure was. Anyways gonna go get cake." This time y/n was timid unlike the last time. She walks away. "Ah, y/n. Its either I'm too harsh or you're too sensitive." Terushima thought.

Terushima runs up to the bathroom and grabs a marker. He thought since it were a party he would find her with a visible marking. He wrote a smiley face at the back of his head/nape. He started walking around looking at peoples names looking for the smiley, he found none. He walked up to y/n and sighed. "Ugh, Y/n it's no use, I can't find her!" He says whining. "That's the reason, you're a babyyyy!" Y/n says giggling slightly. "But your baby." He says and looks up to her since he was in a crouched position with puppy dog eyes. Y/n sees it as her chance to get icing and swab it on his nose. "Y/n! What was that for!" Terushima says to y/n. He looked again, she was laughing so genuinely and so deep she snorted. He didn't get angry he just smiled. "Hey y/n lick it off." He says. ".....what no!" She says with a flustered face. "I knew that would make you shut up!" He said pointing to her red face. "Knock it off yellow crayon!" She says bumping him with her shoulder. "Okay, okay!"

Terushima wakes up in his bed. "Damn! I got wasted!" He says and stretches. "Well.. wasted on Mountain Dew, y/n's no fun." He says. He picks up his phone and check the notifications. "Y/n, y/n, y/n... aha!" He says scrolling trying to find you in his contacts and calls Y/n. The phone rang and rang until he wondered why he can hear it ringing from somewhere else. Y/n silently opens the door for him not to notice and just stands there. "Ahem." Y/n catching his attention. "Y/N! HOw did I get here! Did you sleep in my room?" He says shooting her a smirk. "What, do you not realise that this is my room?" Y/n asks. "Wait what, it's so like mine, like a boy's room." He says pointing around. "UGH! Besides the point! You fell asleep in my couch and my mom insisted to make you sleep on my bed, while I had to sleep on the couch." Y/n says crossing her arms. Terushima stands up and pasts you, he looked back and smacked your butt. "Thank youuu~" he try's to say in a charming way. "Terushima! That's not- that's assault! You're just lucky we've been friends since first grade you know! I'm used to your ways." Y/n says confronting him. "Ah ah ah! What's the tension in this room, y/n, Terushima?" Y/n's Mom passes by and interrogates you two. "Oh nothing Ms. L/n! Good morning Ms L/n! Hope you had a great sleep." He says as he grabs her hand and shakes it. Your mom being your mom, though it was nice. "Oh Terushima!  Charming as always! Lets have breakfast." She says leading him to the dining area. He glances at you with a cheeky look but once he's done that you shot him with the "I will kill you in your sleep" face, he trembled.

The day had finished and Terushima drove home. While Terushima was driving home, he couldn't stop thinking about his soulmate. He stops the car and passes by a store and bought a marker. He wrote a joke saying "Do you know what I'm made of? Boyfriend material ;)". "She'd better respond! If not I'm going to soak myself in paint and walk around until I find a paint covered person!" He thought. To his surprise, she did. "Hahah! You're really funny! I've found you 0//0" she wrote. He wrote faster than every and said "well, I hope we meet soon.". "Yeah, wanna try now? Where are you?" She said. "I live in japan, miyagi prefecture!" He wrote. "What!?! I'm in miyagi prefecture :0" she wrote. "Let's meet, I suppose you know johzenji high?" He wrote. "Yes, in fact I go there! I'll dress up now." She says. "See you there in 30 mins?" He replied. "Yes, bring a pen :)"

Terushima waited there in the gates with a pen. He saw a girl enter his vision with the same markings. "Oh, here she comes." He thought. He was broken out of thought by her voice.

"T-Terushima?"
