Ennoshita x reader: dedication

It was a dark Friday night at the Karasuno Gym. The sound of rain pouring, splashing on the ground, it was a peaceful yet, stressful night. That was the night, Y/n was gonna confess her love for Ennoshita. She thought it was perfect timing since she was blocked in by the rain and ennoshita had an umbrella. Every night they would walk home together, talking and laughing, sometimes they would hangout in each other's houses. As time passes and as she watched rain drops splash on the concrete pathways a light shined through. "Y/n? What are you doing on the step? Come on, I'll get you a towel and you can watch us play." Ennoshita said. Every single pitch of his voice, how smooth it was it would send shivers down your spine. "Oh! Y/n! Why are you shivering! Are you so cold, here my jacket!" He gave you his jacket since he wasn't dressed in his uniform yet. "O-oh thank you Chikara." You said. "No problem, now lets go inside." He said pulling you into the gym.

"Who's this?" A black-haired male with a gray-haired guy beside him. "Oh- I'm Chikara san's friend. L/n F/n but please call me Y/n." You said bowing. "Oh, Chikara..? Please come in." He said.

"Y/n, that guy you introduced yourself to was, Daichi the captain, next to him is sugawara...." Chikara kept on explaining to you who's on his team while you slowly and slowly just lost focus. You just stared at his eyes not listening and admiring the boy.

"Got it?" He snapped Y/n out of her day dreaming. "Yes! Okay, I'll sit up there I guess." You said pointing to the bench. "Alright, see you later." He said waving goodbye.

"His jacket is with me, this is a weird feeling, love is a weird feeling, you either get a long lasting one till death or one you get but hurts you over and over again for no reason." You thought deeply. "Love is something you don't need yet, you long for over and over again, after hurt you just keep going. I guess, that feeling of butterflies in your stomach is addictive." You thought once more this time eyeing Chikara as if there is no one else in the gym. "Maybe I can just.." you positioned yourself on the bench a bit and took a little sleep.

"Hey! Y/n! Wake up, I love you so much!" You saw a view of Chikara saying that to you. "W-what? I love you too!!!" You replied. "That's great, now here you go." Chikara said as he stabbed you in the back.

You woke up with a strange pain on your stomach. "C-Chikara what the hell?" You said holding your stomach. "Y/n! Are you alright, the ball hit your stomach! Are you alright?" He said running towards you. He touched you stomach, caressed it and looked. "What, I thought you stabbed me?" You said in disbelief of what she sees, no wound. "What? Why would I stab you? I think you had a dream." He said smiling at you. "O-oh, anyways, I'm fine, go back to your playing! Good luck Chikara!" You shouted.

"Crap, this hurts like hell. Someone check if my organs aren't squished, crap crap cRaP!" You thought loudly while holding your stomach while they continued the game.

"Y/n I just finished the game! Lets go home?" He asked you handing his hand. "O-oh, sure. Lets go walk." You said accepting his hand and start getting ready. He was already ready so you two walked under one umbrella standing close, trying not to get wet.

"Y/n, this is the perfect time, its quiet, nobody else is here except for rain." You thought before you spoke.

"Hey Chikara-san, i dont know if you know this but, I r-really like you...like not as best friends as well... lovers."  You said looking at him red faced. "Y-y/n, I didn't know you felt this way, I'm so sorry but, as much as I want this to happen, it can't. I'm planning to dedicate my high school to winning as the Japan team. If we were ever together, I would've ended up breaking up the relationship. I don't wanna hurt you Y/n." He said looking at you with a sorry looking smile. "O-oh, really you didn't wanna hurt me when you just did, alright, I'll be going from here." Y/n said looking at him with a sad forced smile. With the many raindrops, her tears were the most noticeable. "Y-y/n its raining where are you going?" He asked but as he said that, Y/n ran outside of the umbrella and started to get rained on. The guy caught up to her and covered her head. "Chikara- I mean, ennoshita, please leave me alone." Y/n said looking down running back outside.

"Oh y/n, you dont know how sad I am too. Maybe I am too dedicated." He thought gripping hardly on the handle of the umbrella.

Ik this was a break day but yall we reached 650 reads! KAGEYAMA'S chapter even how cringe it was, it reached 100 views in one chapter. I'm very very grateful for you guys. Writing helped me mentally. Thank you. As always, bye lovelies <3
