Tsukishima x Reader : strawberry kisses

(C/n is cousins name)
It was after classes and you decided to treat yourself to the little cafe down the road from the school.

You enter and a bell jingled signalling your entrance. "Y/n!!!" Your over energised cousin shouted as she/he was the cashier. "C/n!! Hey! Wasssssupp mah dood!" You said acting you were like a cool guy. "Ayyeee! Wassuppp!" C/n responded. You signalled you're face that C/n memorised since you order it frequently. You gave her a eyebrow raise and she gave you your favourite, strawberry shortcake with chocolate syrup. C/n just adds the chocolate syrup as an add on for you. You muttered a thank you and took your seat. 

You said on the cute pink couch and ate your cake while scrolling through your phone. You saw a few interesting videos and memes that you giggled to occasionally. The door swing open and jingled. You looked just to see tsukishima, your project buddy or maybe project partner. You two did have some history together, the two of you walked together when Yamaguchi wasn't there. It's like Yamaguchi is the glue the two of you are just 2 things needed to be stuck together or nothing will happen. More or less, he makes the conversations spark. It's either tsukishima talks to you or you talk to him, like hell you'll talk to him. But this time, he wasnt with Yamaguchi, you were actually hoping to see Yamaguchi to talk to but then again he isnt there. You let out a sigh and tried to cover your face from Tsukishima not wanting social interaction. He passed by you and made his order. By the time he reached his food from the counter he stopped by your table.

"Where did you get the chocolate syrup?" He asked you coldly. "Etooooo..... uhm, well you can ask the person there for the chocolate syrup." You said mumbling since you have food in your mouth. He let out a short and small laugh. "Why are you laughing?" You asked him confused. "Y-you've got chocolate on your teeth!" He said laughing pointing to your mouth. You looked away and pouted, you pulled out your phone camera and checked. Indeed you did have a lot of chocolate on your teeth but you didn't know whether to cry or fight back, so you chose what was best. "And what about it?" You asked aggressively. "Oh nothing!" He said as he walked away. "Do you just like pissing people off?" You say as he slowly and slowly gets farther. "You got it right shortie!" He teased you once more but farther away. He asked your cousin for the chocolate syrup and he got it. He walked back to your table and pulled a chair.

"What do you want?" You asked him not making eye contact. "Sure, anywho, didnt we need to make that stupid project together?" He asked you taking a bite of the chocolate soaked strawberry cake. "We do but not now." You once more did not make eye contact. "Awh, shortie, are you maaaaAaad?" He asked you pulling your chin up to his face. You felt flustered and defeated but you eventually came up with a plan. "What's with your sudden  interest in me? Does baby boy Tsukishima like me?!?" You asked him shooting him a playful look in his eyes. "Now,now, who's the baby here?" Tsukishima asked but with a little flush of pink on his cheeks. "Oh hey guys!" Your cousin interrupted your flirty conversation with two cups of coffee. "Here's our coffee for couples only!" They said handing the two cups. "H-huh? C/n we didn't order this? I don't want to pay for this." You said pushing away the cups. "It's on the house!" He said pushing it back in. "Better yet, we're not a couple." Tsukishima said looking at your cousin. "Ehhh, you two look like it! You look like a perfect match for each other! Consider me as your wing-person! Byeee!" Your cousin said before dashing away quickly.

"What was that about?" Tsukishima said serving himself a fork of cake. "I don't know." You said as once more had a plan while he ate the cake. You looked strongly or more like stared at tsukishima in hopes of making him uncomfortable. "J-just what do you think your doing?" Tsukishima asked. "Now now don't be falling in love with me! When I am already I love with you shortie." He said as he smirked at you. You felt shivers down your spine as that weird nickname escaped his mouth. "No! You dummy giraffe lookin..." you mumbled the last parts before looking away. "Okay then, I'll be going" Tsukishima said pulling away from his seat. "Wait! No.. sit." You asked him embarrassed . "Oh! Wipe that smug face off! Aren't we here to do the project?" You asked in a playful aggressive manner. "Yeah yeah, get to the point you just want to be with me!" He said teasing you. "Ugh! I'm leaving and I'm taking your slice of cake with me!" You said scooting out of the pink couch grabbing his plate. "Okay. Then I'll tell the teacher you didn't help." He said looking back on his phone. "FIIIIneeeee!"
