Soulmate AU: Soulmates don't see color until they meet
I pushed around the crowds of people, why did I come to this stupid party? I walked toward the stairs, seeing as it was mostly empty. I was ready to run and sit on the steps when I ran into someone's chest.
"Oh my dog, I-" I said, looking up to the person's eyes. Suddenly color filled my vision.
"Hey, name's Tom." The boy I now knew was named Tom spoke, a smirk on his face.
I felt my face flush, he's super cute.
"[Y/N]." I mumbled.
"Fuck finding Brooke, let's go somewhere else." Tom said with a smile.
"Sounds good." I smiled.
That was about 4 years ago now. Tom and I now lived happily in an apartment far away from everyone from highschool. I smiled at the thought as I put one of Tom's jackets on.
"Baby, c'monnnn I wanna get to the park soon." Tom wrapping his arms around my waist from behind, setting his head on top of mine.
"Okay, okay." I laughed, walking towards the front door.
Once we got to the park, we just started walking hand in hand. Until Tom stopped under a tree, and pointed up.
"SQUIRREL!" Tom yelled pointing into the tree, and I looked over.
"I don't see a-" I looked back to Tom, only to see him on one knee.
"[Y/N] [L/N], my soulmate, will you please be mine forever?" Tom asked, holding the little velvet box toward me.
I covered my mouth, tears streaming down my face as I nodded. Tom slipped the ring on my finger, and I pushed my lips against his.
"I love you, Tom." I mumbled.
"I love you, too, [Y/N]."
