Feathers and scales crash into the glimmering ocean, bubbles come with the crash, forming and bursting at the surface. The light filters through the deep ocean, flashes of red and black, scales and feathers tinted with aqua.
The bird catches the eye of the princess, two minds locked in fear. Scales begin and feathers end, almost as if two beings have become one. Two opposites have collided, forever to change the way the world has changed them. I sit on the edge of the cliff where they fell, the sea bubbling softly where the opposites fell. For the minds of others have not been kind to either of our protagonists... But for goodness sake, I'm just a simple cat, what do I know?!
For many years, I've traversed the different lands, simply being there, collecting tales to tell to this world. Tales that are hard to tell, the many diaries I've had to steal, the many different forms I've had to be in, none as good as my simple cat form. But I do it all for the stories. Perhaps it is worth telling my own tale one day. Maybe later, maybe later. Let's get back to this story.
The pressure builds up in their lungs, for Zora are not the best at holding their breath... Oh dear. They might seem like fish, but they are the descendants of dolphins and whales... air, they need air... as for the Rito, they gained no powers of water when they evolved from the Zora... neither our princess nor our outcast can stand the pressure...
The bubbles release, revealing the two locked in embrace, eyes shut tight, fearing the worst.
The final bubbles rises to the surface and the underwater world fades into black.
