Torfeau smiled at me. "You're the silly Zora, aren't you?"
I blinked, it felt like knowledge just smacked me in the face. Hard. How could I have missed this?
"How could you have missed this?" Sidon said, smiling like a Cheshire cat. Little mind reader.
"Well, I guess you'll have to go after him." said Torfeau, who had clearly lost interest in the conversation. "I saw him fly off towards Faron on that... that Divin Beast Vah Medah..."
"Vah Medoh?" I said, distracted. Why did I think he'd just fly off? Of course he'd take Vah Medoh, dummy.
"We'll make plans to leave soon... I'll map out the rivers we can swim down in Vah Ruta." Torfeau promptly pulled out a map of Hyrule and starting marking things on it with a pen. "This river... then this..." She trailed off, lost in thought.
"Wait..." I looked at Sidon. "We? As in you, me and Torfeau?"
"Of course, sissy." said Sidon. "Wouldn't miss this for the world. Also, how are you gonna tell Dad? That's where I come in."
"Well what are you gonna say, bossy-face?" I snapped. Sidon and I are just average sibilings, we fight no different to the poorest kids in all the lands of Hyrule. The difference is he's, annoyingly, usually right.
"I'll say... I'll say...." Sidon paused. I gave him a smug smile, thinking I had won this one.
"I'll say we needed to go and communicate with the new city that's being made in Akkala, just above Ruto Lake." I frowned.
"There's a city there?" I asked.
Sidon laughed. "No, you dummy. After I'll just say they gave up or there were no resources or something." He waved his hand, like it wasn't important. "We'll blow up that bridge when we come to it."
My lips turned upwards into a thin half-smile. "You know what?" I said to the two kids.
Torfeau and Sidon looked at me with the most adorable eyes. "What?" they said at the same time.
"I'm starting to think that this idea isn't really just in our heads anymore."
I squeezed the two Zora tight.
"It's our reality."
