When Opposites Collide ~ A BOTW Mivali Fanfiction

"We are running out of time."

Ruta has been swimming for about a day. We left as soon as Torfeau planned our routes and Sidon had convinced Dad that we were going to Akkala.

"Um, guys..." I paused. "Where are we going?"

Torfeau sniffed the air. "He went to Lurelin Village, a village on the outskirts of Faron. There should be enough rivers to get us there. I just hope you didn't say anything mean to him. He had their air of someone who wanted to die..."

I sat up straight. What have I done?!

I looked Torfeau right in the eye. "We are leaving. NOW."

Torfeau seemed to understand, but I guess that just comes with being able to read auras.

Sidon looked at me. "What?" I said.

"Uh, sissy? You control Vah Ruta...."

"Oh... right." I tried to force a chuckle, but I was internally panicking. I don't want anyone to die!

"Wait... let me check the post." Sidon dashed off.

"Sidonwaitwedon'tneedto-"But he was already gone. Torfeau stood by my side.

"He knows what he wants." she said, looking on proudly. I turned to her.

"Do you... are you guys..." I shot her a look.

Torfeau went pink. "Oh, um, yeah... we are..."

"But you're so youn-"

Sidon sped in between us, breathing heavily. "Sissy...please....read...." he panted.

He was holding a letter. It was written in fancy writing. Although it was adressed to me, it was clear Sidon had read it. I sighed. Of course he did. For some reason, Sidon likes to think he can protect me. He tries. Often doesn't go too well. 

I pulled the letter from the envelope. Torfeau and Sidon looked on, seeming slightly worried.

The letter read:

Dear Mipha,

If you care about me, I have given a day until I kill myself. If you don't care, you will let me die. 

My hate for you burns me. You will never be able to pour water on it.

Goodbye.

I looked at Sidon and Torfeau, slightly confused. "What does this mean?"

Sidon, glanced at Torfeau, then looked back to me. 

"It means... well, we are running out of time."
