"Hey, Sidon!"
I whip around. "Oh hey Revali! How's it going?"
He laughs, putting his hand on my shoulder. "Our little girl's the loudest Zora in existence, always smiling, laughing or bawling her eyes out! I couldn't ask for a different child - we love her to bits."
Revali glances to the waterfall, deep in thought. "You and Torfeau are getting married next month, right?"
I blush, scratching the back of my head. "Haha, yes we are! Honestly the way Mipha talks about it - I swear she's planning it all for us!"
I feel the warmth of her body on my back - Torfeau hugs me tight, hands draping over my shoulders. "Hi." she whispers lazily.
"I'd better get back to the day job, y'know, cleaning up the messes left of the floor." Revali laughs. I remember a time where he was solemn and melancholy - this seems so different from the Revali I used to know.
Accordion music hums in the background as I watch Revali walk away, crown shimmering on his head, waving and smiling to the Zora people around him, who grin happily back.
Father has long since passed. I will never be King, but honestly, everything is ok! Mipha, Revali, their little girl Ruto, Torfeau and I are all happy, alive and ok.
My head flies back to darker times - but I push the thoughts away.
I catch something out of the corner of my eye - a group of flying warriors, glaring with jealousy at the one they'd discarded.
The one with the most jealousy...
I look up at her, making sure she catches my eye...
And I smile.
