It was too warm in the bed for the two. It was the wolf who woke first, but the fox followed suit after a little bit of movement was felt.
The wolf had nudged Roger in the side, shaking him softly to wake him, but not forcefully.
The fox was disoriented at first but collected himself. He remembered that the wolf had been sleeping next to him. He checked his watch and determined that it was merely past midnight by a few minutes. He looked at the wolf, and his eyes had adjusted so that he could at least make out a few details.
"What's wrong?" he asked Hunter.
Hunter said, "I think it's too hot to be sleeping like this." As he mentioned it, the fox became aware of the overwhelming heat. He had been sweating and had not really noticed it up until this point.
He nodded in response and said, "Yeah. I can move over to the floor if you like...."
The wolf shook his head. "If we put a little room between us, I think it'll be okay. Maybe if I take off my shirt?"
Roger blushed. "Well, I... uh, I mean... I guess you could," he responded.
The wolf made a motion, removed his shirt and put it on the floor. The fox could not really make out any of the details, but he imagined them. He bit his lip, and then said, "Maybe it'll be better if I did so, too."
He gingerly removed his own shirt, suddenly feeling a bit embarrassed, but he knew the wolf could not see him. He had not felt as embarrassed before, but it seemed the more time he spent with Hunter, the more self-conscious he became.
He threw his shirt somewhere on the floor. He did not pay attention to where it had gone, he was more attentive to the situation he was in. The wolf had lied back down on his side, except this time facing away from the fox.
Roger lied on his side, as well, facing the wolf, his back to the wall. There was a little bit of distance between the two, and as they began to cool down, he began to get cold again. The sweating in his sleep did not help his situation.
He moved a little closer to the wolf, carefully, trying not to wake him, though from prior experience he knew that the wolf was a heavy sleeper. He cautiously and hesitantly moved his arm over the wolf, and then slowly brought it down.
His forearm rested on the wolf's side and his paw fell limply in the air. He gulped silently, unsure if this was the correct thing to do, but it was merely just the opposite position the wolf had had him in a moment prior, though this time they did not have a shirt on.
He moved himself a little closer to the wolf until his chest was touching the wolf's back, but barely. His lower arm he shifted and put under the pillow while his other arm wrapped around the wolf, pulling him a little closer. He put his paw on the wolf's abdomen and rubbed it idly, not really thinking of what he was doing.
He felt his face flush and he nuzzled into the wolf's shoulder softly. He had not hugged someone without a shirt before, whether it be himself or someone else, or both, and it felt different than if they had clothes on. It felt softer, from their fur, and it felt... right, to the fox.
The fur softened what would otherwise be the somewhat hard muscles of the wolf's abdomen. He ran his paw through the wolf's fur slowly, analyzing it while enjoying it. It was softer than he thought it would be, and a bit thicker. It made him realize that the wolf was slimmer than he appeared.
There was soft snoring heard coming from the wolf and the fox confirmed that he was sleep. He squeezed his friend in his arms gently, as if he were afraid of breaking him.
He was tired, but he knew he could not sleep at such a time. He inhaled deeply through his nose, taking in the wolf's scent. It was faint, but he was close enough that it was nearly intoxicating.
The familiar feeling of his desires welled up inside him. He held Hunter close, careful to not let out the murrs and moans that he was sure to come if he was not careful.
His muzzle rested on the wolf's neck, and he attempted to control his breathing since it was so close to the wolf's ear. He still heard snoring and figured that it would be a good indicator of whether or not the wolf was awake.
He paused. What was he doing? he thought. This was not really a way he should treat his friend. He gave a soft sigh and rested his head on the wolf.
Hunter fidgeted and made a loud snore. In the motion, he brushed against the fox and then settled into what seemed a more comfortable position, but was really no different than before.
The movement made Roger aware of his own body's reactions to such physical nearness, however. He blushed and moved his hips back slightly, not wanting to press his waist against the wolf, out of respect for his friend, and also out of fear that his friend might notice.
He shifted further back and moved his paw to check to see if it was noticeable. By his findings, it seemed as if it had already been out of its housing, but at least still within his pants. He blushed furiously and rolled back over.
In doing so, the wolf did the same. He felt large arms close around him and he heard a break in the snoring, which was immediately resumed, and loudly. He was blushing too much to be tired at this point, but he knew he did not really need to be embarrassed when no one knew of what he had done.
Still, it did not help. The damage was done, he merely hoped it would go away.
He felt the wolf's paw on his stomach, not really moving, but it was warm and alive. Roger closed his eyes and tried to focus on something else, but all he could focus on was the proximity of the wolf's paw to his urges. Not only that, but the wolf had also pressed himself against the fox.
There was nothing that he felt that was out of the ordinary, of course. He merely felt someone behind him, someone warm, and that he was being held. He gulped audibly this time and nearly let out of a whine.
The noise seemed to interrupt the wolf's sleep. Somehow, through the deep sleep woke the wolf, and he stammered out a, "Huh? Wh... what's wrong? You okay?"
Roger replied quietly, "Y-yeah, I'm fine. Just, uh... I need to go use the bathroom really quick. Excuse me."
He climbed over the wolf carefully and quickly and awkwardly made his way toward the restroom. He was thankful that there was no light, but only upon entering the restroom and having turned on the light did he really appreciate the darkness.
There was a large wet spot on the front of his pants, as a result of his excitement, and a very noticeable protrusion. He removed his pants momentarily and put a cloth to them, hoping that it would help a little in ridding it of its moisture.
He looked down at himself. There it was, red upon white, and even with his embarrassment and movement, it was still fully erect. He took a paw to it and eased his tensions.
It did not take long at all. In fact, it was probably the quickest he had ever finished since there was so much energy that had been dammed up. He sighed with relief and waited the adequate time to calm down.
When he felt it was appropriate, he returned to his room. The wolf had managed to slide over to the wall and was already sleeping again.
Roger laid beside him. He put an arm on the wolf and yawned. Finally, his fatigue was setting in, now that his anxiety no longer kept him up.
He rested his muzzle upon the wolf's neck as he had done before. He figured his lustful feelings would not return for a little while, or at least he hoped. He made sure the wolf was asleep.
The fox gave Hunter a small lick on the neck and then proceeded to fall asleep.
