He knew it would come to this. He knew that he didn't deserve such love, such a wonderful person. She was way too perfect for him. She was beautiful, the most beautiful woman he had ever seen in his life. Each day he would meet new people, each different from the last one. All of them looked nothing like the other. And yet, no woman, no men could ever match her looks.

As if that wasn't enough the girl loved him dearly. She would always follow his requests and respect his privacy. She understood him. On a whole another personal level that none else could. She knew everything about him, about them. She knew all of his darkest secrets, all of his dirty deeds. He had killed so many; he was the most important person in entire Italy, the mafia boss after all. And it fascinated him how she loved him unconditionally.

They had fallen in love long ago, almost sixteen years ago. The man remembers it like it was yesterday. The memory of that lonesome warm night resurfaced.

Diavolo was walking along the empty streets. It was night after all and most people were enjoying a nice meal in the center of the small town. Or perhaps were in a nightclub or simply home. Who would be heading for the seashore in such a late hour anyway?

The pink-haired boy that is. He needed time to think, away from everyone else. So he figured that the beach would be the perfect place. He stopped by the last lamp on the street to take off his shoes. Holding them in one hand, the boy jumped down into the sand. By now the sand had cooled off.

He headed for a nearby rock, where he placed his shoes and jacket. Sitting down on the ground, the boy closed his eyes and rested his head against the rock. The sounds of the waves were always calming to him. A sigh escaped his lips. A big opportunity has opened for him. Diavolo had learned about something important, something that would change the lives of many, as well as his own. The big question was if he would take it. If he did, then it would surely bring him fortune and success. Yet, it held a high risk – the price of his life if he was ever caught.

The boy never had someone close like a family. Given that his real father was never found and his mother – in a prison (before being buried alive), he had no one close. So he didn't have anyone to lose other than himself. Diavolo didn't have a lot of fortune to lose either. Perhaps it would be best to take the opportunity. He nodded slightly to himself in agreement. He would take the risk. He needed to find the arrows-

"Excuse me?" a soft voice cut off his thoughts. The boy opened his eyes to look at whoever was bothering him. Diavolo was ready to scold the person; a deep frown had already formed on his face. Just as he was about to raise his voice, he noticed a girl approaching him.

At first, he wasn't able to make out her features due to the darkness, but as she got closer his breath hitched in his throat. She had the face of an angel, her (H/C) framing her face perfectly. She was struggling to keep her sunflower dress up and walk at a normal pace. The dress clung to her body, earning a small blush from Diavolo.

"A-ah! I'm sorry to bother you, but it looks like I'm lost, I was wondering if you could help me? You see I'm visiting Italy for the first time, and I can't find my friend's address." She said with a small smile. Her cheeks became a bit red, probably from embarrassment, Diavolo noted. "I couldn't find anyone around here – This part of the town is so empty! Then I noticed you." she giggled lightly. The sound set off a bizarre feeling deep inside the boy. Never in his whole life had anyone been able to do that. He felt heat rise to his cheeks as she looked right back at him with her beautiful (E/C) eyes.
