When you first joined Passione it was hard. Life wasn't always good for you, thus giving you the final decision to join the mafia. And on top of everything one of the team leaders was one of your closest friends – Bruno had helped you so many times before. You had no idea if he did it because he had some interest of you or out of pure heart. Either way, he had always helped you. That was one of the reasons you wanted to join; in a way to repay him by helping his team.
However, when they finally accepted you in, there was one problem – you wouldn't actually work under Bruno, but in another team in Naples. The assassination team. Of course, at first you were devastated – this wasn't good at all. You wanted nothing else but to repay Bruno for what he'd done for you.
But as you got to know they you realized it wasn't actually that bad. They were all kind of closed-off, keeping their backstories and real names to themselves. You knew for a fact that in Bruno's team this wouldn't be the case. In La Squadra no one asked personal questions, no one asked about your real name. You only focused on the missions that your capo gave you.
And that was wonderful for you! No one asked why you always wore a hat, no matter how hot it was. No one asked why you decided to wear long pants on your beach day. And that's how you wanted it to be.
You weren't planning anytime soon to explain why on earth you had cat ears to a group of assassins. It has always been hard to give reasons as to why you were born with cat attributes, yet as time passed you found a way to cover it up.
"Hey, shit-face, I'm talking to you." Ghiaccio snapped, pulling you away from your day dream about pancakes. You were slightly startled by his raised voice, straightening up before looking at the ice boy. He had his usual annoyed expression, yet his eyes glared at you.
Ghiaccio has always been like this with you; ever since you were introduced he'd acted distant and outright rude. He would always snap at you, insult or ignore you entirely. You could never know why, for he never answered you. Since you couldn't think of a logical reason as to why he'd hate you, you deiced that Ghiaccio just is like that.
"Come on, I don't have all day, just say if you accept what Risotto said or not." The ice goblin growled, pushing his glasses up his face and looking away. Your eyes traveled to Risotto who was staring at you. Just like everyone else.
That easily put you on edge, making you sweat. Damn those pancakes! Now you probably missed some important info. Risotto's face stayed emotionless.
"Your stand is most compatible with Ghia's, sadly. I will pray for your soul, bro" Formaggio said from beside you, patting your back. You took a breath and nodded meekly, offering a small smile to Ghiaccio across from you. You guessed this was something about a mission. And how scary can a mission be?
Turns out that it could be quite terrifying. The mission itself was pretty basic – eliminate a team. Nothing new. What was terrifying you was the fact that you had to go undercover in a different city for a few days. With Ghiaccio. With the one teammate that hates you. You had to spend a whole three days alone with him.
