Lindseys's new hair color on the side→→(it may be temporary I still have to decide)

I was still sitting on the floor. Trying to process what had happened.
"Alpha Axel my mate" I whispered as I run my hand through my brown ugly hair.
I hate my hair and everyone else does as well. They let me know, its brown, a birds nest is what they said although they also said it was an offense to a bad birds nest. It is very boring and dull. "Its time for a change" I look at the clock. It reads 12:44. "Our date's at 6 I have enough time." I walk out my room in search of May.
"MAY!" I yell heading to her room.
"MAY"
"What?" She answers
"Where are you?"
"In the kitchen"
Hmm what color should I dye my hair. Blue? Red? Pink? Eww no pink is outta the question. I look up to see May siting on the table munching on chips.
"Oh hey May I was wondering if you could um... take me to get my hair done? Its alright if you... you don't want to" I say nervously waiting for a no.
"Omg yes of course ill take you" she squeals " what color are you thinking?" She says getting up and grabbing her car keys.
"Um im not sure yet I want something quite different from this boring brown" I say as we walk out the door to her white Chrysler 300c 2014.
"Okay lets go, get in and ill take you to my favorite salon. Your hair will turn out great.
****** 50 minutes later********
"We're here" May says turning off her car.
"Finally it took forever." I say quickly getting out excitedly. Almost jumping from excitement we make our way to the door.
As we walk in a little bell goes off.
"Hello ladies how can I help you? Oh hi May how are you doing. " Asks a very pretty lady around her early 20's. She had bright red hair which seemed to have a pink undertone making it look purple reddish. Her hair made her seem pale which looked amazing. She had her eyebrow and lip pierced.
"Hey lily its been a while I'm good how about you?"
"I'm great" lily said now turning to me "you are so pretty I'm lily May's hair stylist."
"Oh um thanks but no. And I'm Lindsey"
"Nice to meet you and you are! By now how can I help you two?"
"Um I would like to dye my hair a different color that is different but doesn't pop out as much" I replied. "Could you help me decide what would look good on me? If you can?" I ask nervously
"Yeah sure I have a great Idea why don't you take a seat right here?"
I walk over to where she's standing and take a seat.
"Do you want me to tell you the color that will look great on you? Or do you want it to be a surprise?" Hmm I don't want to know so...
"Surprise right May?"
"Yep honestly I would trust lily with my life" she says with a laugh.
