"Will you marry me?" I asked on my bended knees.

It was perfect. Everything was perfect. I rented the whole place just for us. It was sunset, what everything told that it's romantic. I planned it all out.

"I'm sorry, Von. But my answer is no." She said and walked away.

I was left dumbfounded.

Later on, I found myself drinking a bottle of whiskey with a stranger. I mean, we're both in the same boat so I guess, I'll let her pass.

"What the?!" Bulong ko dahil kinuha nito ang singsing na dapat ibibigay ko kay Melanie kanina.

Naiinis ako sa sarili ko dahil kaunting inom lang ay ang bilis ko na tamaan. While this girl in front of me...Jesus Christ, she's the one who finished the whole bottle. Tinaktak pa nito ang bote para simutin at tinapat sa bibig niya.

My vision's a bit blurry and my head's throbbing so I can't move properly. Wala na akong nagawa matapos niyang kunin ang singsing. She said she'll give it back. I was facing the ground and can't make my head up.

"Pareho pala tayo, ano? Parehong iniwan.."

No, we're not. We are not the same.

I said those words in my mind because I don't have enough strength to say it.

Damn, this whiskey! Damn this body who can't take alcohol! So much for being a low tolerance in drinking.

I woke up almost one o'clock in the afternoon.

"Ser, gising na ho kayo. Lilinisin na ho itong kubo."

I blinked twice and tried standing up. Mabuti at nakatayo ako ng maayos at nagkaroon ng lakas makasakay sa kotse ko.

"This won't happen again," I mumbled as I put my head on the steering wheel.

Kinapa ko ang bulsa ko at...

"Holy shit! Where is it?"

I was marching into that girl's room. She better have it! She said she'll return it. What is she, a thief?

I think there was a few steps left before I got into her room when I saw a girl who came out of it. The girl looks so, fucked up. Her clothes and her hair are in a mess. Like a huge mess. She didn't even bother wearing a pair of slippers while she's walking.

"Seriously?"

She went up to the rooftop of the building. Melanie called immediately so I answered it before opening the door to the rooftop.

"Hello, Von? I'm really sorry...Nabigla kasi ako but we're still in a relationship ha?"

I smirked and arched my eyebrows on what I heard. I must be crazy or completely out of my mind but it's really alright for me. I don't care if Melanie would reject me a thousand times as long as she's still with me.

Love is such a fool and so am I.

I put my phone back on my pocket and finally opened the door. I was shocked seeing her at the edge of the rooftop. She looks like she's going to jump.

"What the hell? Sabog na ba utak nito?"

"Anong ginagawa mo?!"

Her eyes are almost a laser and she's glaring at me. What the hell? She really is going to do it?

"Magpapakamatay ka ba?!" Sigaw ko dito.

"Ano bang sa tingin mo? Tingin mo ba ineenjoy ko ang view or nagpapaulan ako dito?!"
