"(Y/n), what can I do for you?" I sent Deaton a nervous smile and glanced over to the main clinic door as Hallow curiously stepped through it, looking around the room.
"I have some questions, about familiars and spells." He nodded and ushered me into the back room, where I realised Scott was not working today, lifting a massive weight off my shoulders. Hallow followed behind. Deaton made a gesture for me to speak. "I was looking through the book," I set said book onto the table. "and I was getting curious so I was just curious to see if I could make my own spell, then I said one and Hallow turned into a human." I spoke rather quick, but Deaton managed to understand it, nodding along.
"I see. What was this spell?"
"It was one to make him speak, but I guess it just turned him human?" The Druid nodded and held a gentle hand out for Hallow to take. The former cat looked at me and I nodded for him to take the older mans hand, so he did. Deaton looked him over, with multiple tests, basic ones like sight, blood pressure and such.
"He seems entirely human, but because he's a familiar, that means technically he is your aide of sorts. Most familiars can shape shift throughout their time with a witch, and it seems that because of your spell, he's chosen to stay with you constantly in the form of a human."
"So, he's human so he can attend school with me?" I asked, a strange tone in my tone as I stared at the boy. Deaton nodded with a hum.
"Exactly. He can still shift into a cat, or into other creatures which may help you with whatever you're task at hand may be." I nodded in understanding, Hallow just listening to the exchange. "He can't be away from you, so in theory he has to live with you." I slowly nodded again with a sigh.
"I'm gonna have to go shopping, aren't I?" Deaton nodded again.
"I'm afraid so."
_______________
I sat in the courtyard with Hallow, having just enrolled him in the school. The two of us sat talking, trying to figure out how we would get him to live with me at the Stilinski's house, when Stiles, Malia, Scott and Lydia came up to us, Kira just about trailing behind. The group took seats around us, or rather 'with' us and hallow glanced at me nervously. I just smiled at him.
"Hey, you guys need something?"
"We need you to get close to Theo." I stared at Scott like he was mad.
"No. I have enough to worry about than Stiles' fantasies of Theo being a bad guy."
"You said he was too-"
"No, Scott, what I said was that he was lying. Look, we have class to get to, so I'll talk to you guys later." I grabbed Hallow's hand and pulled him up, lightly pulling him towards English.
"Who were they?"
"Some friends. I'll introduce you later, okay?" He nodded, lightly grasping my hand.
"He's staring at you."
"Who?"
"The boy. The one you live with." I turned to look curiously at Hallow and then back towards the group, seeing that my 'cat' was right, Stiles was staring right at me. I shook it off and we continued on our way.

Liam found me later in the day as he wandered around with Mason, asking where Brett would be.
"Lacrosse field probably, why?" The two shared a look and nodded, heading off. Hallow and I shared a look before grabbing our bags and following after them.
Turns out I was right, Brett was on the Lacrosse field practicing.
"So he's a werewolf too?" Liam crossed his arms and sighed as Mason spoke. I had my bag slung over my shoulder when Brett noticed us. I waved at him with a bright smile and hurried over, my arms wrapping over his shoulders as his slipped around my waist, lifting me in a tight hug. Hallow had anxiously followed behind me, sending Brett an awkward smile and wave.
"Who's you're friend?" Brett set me down and nodded to Hallow, holding a hand out to him. "I'm Brett."
"This is Hallow, we haven't quite figured out another name yet..."
"What do you mean?" I shrugged.
"I'm her cat, well familiar." Hallow answered for me and I nodded when my werewolf companion looked at me curiously.
"You're a witch? I thought you were a werewolf." I shrugged again and nodded my head in agreement.
"Same. Apparently I'm both. I was messing with spells and he turned human, we haven't got a human name for him yet."
"I think Hallow's just fine." Brett nodded with the familiar in agreement as Liam and Mason pottered over.
The two showed Brett a picture and asked if he knew her or was in Satomi's pack.
"Cute, but never seen her." Brett stated packing up his bag.
"Could Satomi have changed her without you knowing?" I sent a strange look to Liam, wondering what was going on.
"After the dead pool, Satomi's not doing much recruiting."
"Thats how it works?" Mason asked, Liam staring at his phone while I just sighed. "Alpha werewolves just go around biting people?" I shook my head.
"Or you can be born like me, my sister and (Y/n)." I waved as Brett nodded over to me and I nodded. "Satomi took us in after our family died in a fire, (Y/n) was on the run when it happened to hers, whoever was left of the Hales did." Liam zoomed in on something on his phone.
"Guys, I think I just found something." I stared at him again.
"So what's been going on? What don't I know?" Hallow and I shared a nervous look, awaiting an answer to be provided.

Hallow and I settled onto my bed with the bags and bags of clothes and toiletries we had just bought for the wonderful familiar when I got a sudden chill an my head randomly whipped in a certain direction.
"Hallow, stay here." He nodded and remained seated on my bed as I grabbed my keys and hurried to my car. The one place I found myself not long later, was the Sheriff's station. I wandered through the building and soon found an area of the building with people paralysed, and Lydia bleeding on the floor with Kira putting pressure on the wound.
"What happened here?"
"Malia and Tracy are in the basement, Lydia's bleeding..." I nodded, understanding Kira's slightly panicked words. I crouched beside the two girls and took a deep breath, staring at the wound Kira was covering and lightly hovered my hands over her own, trying to remember something I had read in the book, but y hands shaking when I couldn't.
"Hallow! Please bring me the Grimoire!" Within seconds the boy was beside me and holding the book in view so I could see the page he had opened it to. He sent me a nod and encouraging smile. I nodded with the same smile, closing my eyes and focussing. The draught around us gradually picked up and surrounded us as I whispered. "Aceso, goddess of healing, lend me your power." The wind speed grew. "Aceso, goddess of healing, lend me your power." I could sense the bright smile on Hallow's face as I felt him stand up and pull the book away. "Aceso, goddess of healing, lend me your power." Sounds had began to surround us, mutterings and whispers, an ominous feeling that we were being watched by the shadows, and the sound of Hallow's amazed chuckle. "Aceso, goddess of healing, lend me your power." My eyes shot open and my eyes met Kira's wide ones. Her hands had slipped from Lydia's side and she was just staring at me. I looked dow at our strawberry haired friend and gently lifted her shirt to see that it was fine now, perfectly healed like nothing had ever been there, not even a scar. The wind had dropped as soon as I had opened my eyes, so had the whispering. Lydia was staring up at me too and when I turned around, so was Mr Stilinski. "Hallow...?" He hummed and held a hand out for me, gently pulling me up as I whispered. "I think we should go home." He nodded and followed after me to the car. However as we left the building, we passed Stiles, Scott and...Theo? The three looked at us oddly before hurrying in.
