I wandered through the house in search of Stiles, Hallow fast asleep on my bed. I tried to call him, but I still couldn't find him, mainly because he wouldn't answer my calls. Recently the McCall pack had been reading through the Dread Doctor book and I had decided against getting involved. But now I felt like I had to. I hid behind the wall at the top of the stairs and poked my head around the corner after having heard a repetitive clicking and whirring sound. The first thing I noticed was three dark figures. Immediately I went back to my room and gently closed the door behind me, slipping my shoes on and grabbing my book, shoving Hallow enough for him to wake up.
"Hallow, get up. Get up! We need to go!" His eyes fluttered open and he saw my panic, instantly getting up and grabbing his shoes and bag, snatching the book and sliding it in before slipping on his shoes and opening my window. I took his hand and he pulled me through enough so I could climb down and then jump as far as I needed, he soon followed, shutting my window too. I had already started running down the street, and so my familiar began to follow quickly.
"Why are we running?!"
"They're there! We need to find the others!"
We were sprinting like maniacs and swerving around corners until I finally found who I was looking for.
"Stiles!" The dark haired boy turned around and stared right at me with utter confusion in the middle of the night. "Stiles!" I cried out, Hallow close behind me as we came close to the hospital. The boy was quick to grab my waist and stop me from running, holding me close to him as I caught my breath by frantically breathing.
"Hey, hey, what's wrong?"
"The Dread Doctors..." His brows furrowed and everyone looked right at me.
"What?"
"They were at the house...I don't know why...." I tried to calm my breathing and Stiles gently let go of me, keeping a hand on my arm.
"What do you mean? How do you know about them?"
"You left a photo-copy of the book in the living room and I got bored so I read it. And now I regret it! Why were they at the house?" Everyone stared at me and then shared looks, Theo seemingly growing increasingly confused and slightly worried. "Stiles!"
"I-I don't know, maybe they wanted you or your friend?"
"They wanted the book, (N/n)." I whipped around to face Hallow.
"What do you mean?"
"The book, it has things in it, things that they can use." I stared at him, all of us did.
"What book?" Lydia asked curiously, inching closer. Hallow placed a hand on my shoulder in encouragement, trying to get me to tell my friends my new found ability. He pulled the book out of his bag an handed it to me with a supportive smile. "Oh, that book." I nodded.
"It's, uhm, what some people would call a Grimoire. A book of spells."
"Why would you need a book of spells?" Kira piped up and I pulled the book close to my chest.
"Back in Mexico Derek was losing his powers because he was 'evolving' into the kind of werewolf my mother was, being able to fully shift into a wolf." Everyone nodded. "Well it seems, I too was also losing my powers as a werewolf." Everyone stared at me in surprise, apparently unaware of this for the passed few months. "I went to Deaton and it turns out, I was losing my powers because more were awakening. I'm a witch, and apparently a very powerful one. Hallow is my familiar and I accidentally turned him into a human and I have no idea how to turn him back, and I focus on Spells and Potions and apparently something in this book can help create the perfect chimera and the Dread Doctors want it."

I took a massive pass at the plan the pack had going at the moment but I also felt like something was off like something was going to go wrong. My phone rang and I gladly scooped it up from my bedside table because Hallow kept kicking my leg until I actually picked it up. I answered the phone, Hallow still kicking me.
"Alright! Stop kicking me!"
"Who's kicking you?"
"Stiles? Why are you calling me? It's four in the morning."
"Someone flipped Roscoe and took the body, now the police are saying Kira's a suspect in a homicide."
"Okay, I'll meet you at Scott's tomorrow." I hung up on Stiles and went back to sleep, kicking Hallow in the shin in return for him kicking me earlier.
I screamed myself awake, staring around the room in confusion. I was strapped to a metal table in the middle of a dingy room. My face was pressed against the cold metal of the table and out of the corner of my eye I could see three newly familiar figures.
Hallow - Call with Stiles
Stiles? This is Stiles, right?
Yeah? (Y/n)?
Hallow. I'm Hallow.
Why are you on (Y/n)'s phone?
She's missing. I woke up this morning and she was gone. Her phone's still here, her clothes, her bag, her shoes. It's like she just disappeared.
Hallow, hey, hey, calm down, we'll find her okay? Stiles? What's wrong? (Y/n)'s missing.
It wasn't long before I weakly opened my eyes and tried to look around, although finding myself still pinned to a table, shaky breathing. In the distance I could see the Dread Doctors pulling away Hayden. Her eyes were latched on to me as I sent her a forced and reassuring smile, despite it being weak. My clothes were covered in black, silver and red liquid as well as dirt and disgusting water from the floor.
Hallow's POV
I sprinted down the last little bit of the street and slammed open the door to Scott's house. As I was panting, everyone stared at me in confusion.
"Hallow, right?" I nodded at Lydia's question, my hair wet from my sweat.
"Did you find her?" I was still trying to catch my breath.
"Yeah, we found Hayden and Liam down in the pipe tunnels." Theo added with a confused smile, nodding over to the two teens cuddled up on the couch. I furrowed my brow and stood up straighter, finally having caught my breath.
"Stiles didn't tell you?" Everyone shook their heads. "I can't find (Y/n)."
