"Where are we going?" Scott's voice rang through yet another nighttime outing.
"You'll see." Since the other night, Stiles and I hadn't necessarily spoken, mainly because I had decided to focus on school and that little babysitting career to get my mind off of everything that had happened and Stiles had been focused on helping out Scott with the werewolf problem, but now, all three of us were together wandering in the dark to Stiles' secret location to get Scott over his break up with Allison.
"Cause we really shouldn't be out here. My mom is in a constant state of freak-out from what happened at the school."
"Well, your mom isn't the sheriff, okay? So think how we feel. There's no comparison, trust me." I laughed to myself as Stiles just outed us of have the more protective guardian.
"Can you at least just tell me what we're doing out here?" Scott shoved his hands into his pockets due to the cold while I stepped over a few things so I wouldn't trip.
"Yes. When your best friend gets dumped..."
"I didn't get dumped. We're taking a break." I rolled my eyes and the two looked over to me, I shrugged.
"You got dumped." Stiles made a 'told you so' face at my answer and I chuckled.
"All right, well, when your best friend gets told by his girlfriend that they're taking a break...you get your best friend drunk." I smiled a little.

I watched in amusement as Stiles had drank half the bottle of Jack while Scott sat atop a rock with is best friend laying on the floor.
"Dude, you know, she's just one...one girl. You know there are so many other girls in the sea."
"Fish in the sea."
"Fish? Why you talking about fish?" I laughed at Stiles drunk, it was pretty funny, he made no sense. "I'm talking about girls." He sighed. "I love girls, I love them. I love....especially ones with (h/c) hair, (e/c) eyes, 5' 6..." Scott and I shared a very unknown look, mine being concerned while Scott's was just surprised, silently asking if he should ask, I nodded.
"Like (Y/n)..?"
"Yeah, exactly. Hey, how did you know I was talking about...about...what was I talking about?" A smile crossed his lips, across Scott's too when he looked at me. I sighed and rubbed the back of my neck, soon sticking my hands back into my hoodie pocket. "Hey, you're not happy! Take a drink."
"I don't want any more."
"You're not drunk?"
"I'm not anything." I went and took a seat next to Scott and wrapped an arm over his shoulder, pulling him into a sort of hug.
"We can't get drunk, our bodies heal too quickly before the alcohol can actually take effect." Scott nodded and leaned into me, still depressed.
Something happened, which I just ignored and I helped Stiles get into the car.
"Going home, yeah?" Scott nodded.

Stiles and I pulled up to the school and before I could slip out, he tapped the wheel rhythmically and said my name, causing me to slump back in my seat.
"Do you think it was Derek?"
I hummed and looked at Stiles.
"What?"
"The other night, do you think it was Derek?" I shook my head.
"We watched the Alpha attack Derek...." I opened the door and slipped out. "Besides...my brother is a Beta, not an Alpha." I grabbed my bag and slammed the door, heading into the school.

I was watching the Lacrosse practice when Scott just absolutely rammed Danny, so practice was put on hold for a little bit so a medic could get to Danny. Lydia also appeared and Jackson pointed out her lipstick was smudged, making me recognise the scent all over Scott.
"Hey Mischief..." Sometimes I called Stiles, Mischief or Mis because when he was younger he couldn't pronounce his name and that's what had come out. "Scott's scent is different."
"Different how?" I shrugged and nodded over to the school's power couple.
"He smells like Lydia."
"What do you mean?"
"I mean he's covered in Lydia's scent, and Lydia's covered in his." Stiles turned to look at me with a slightly pissed slightly sad expression and I sent him a sympathetic smile and rest my head on his shoulder.

Using the spare key the McCall's hid outside their house, I unlocked the front door and ventured into the house, shutting the door behind me and finding Stiles sat sadly outside of Scott's door. I dropped onto the floor next to him and let my head drop onto his shoulder while his head rest on the wall, his arms resting on his knees as he fiddled with something.
"Stiles, please let me out." Scott panted. "It's the full moon, I swear." Stiles closed his eyes for a moment, still playing with whatever was in his hands. "You know I wouldn't do any of this on purpose." I could hear the metal of handcuffs hitting the same metal of the radiator in Scott's room. "Please, Stiles, let me out, it's starting to hurt." Stiles looked down to me and without having to look up to him, I shook my head. "It's not like the first time. It's the full moon. It's Allison, breaking up with me."
"Stiles, ignore him." I muttered, slowly drifting in and out of sleep.
"I know, that its not just taking a break." Scott paused. "She broke up with me. And it's killing me. I feel completely hopeless. Just, please, let me out." There was a moment of silence and I managed to stay awake.
"I can't." Stiles' voice forced me to stay awake, to listen to their conversation.
"No, no, no!" I could hear Scott shifting but chose to ignore it, but Stiles, he couldn't. He just covered his ears and tipped his head back and closed his eyes, taking deep breaths, even lightly hitting his head against the wall.
"Stiles." I whispered as i sat up and turned my body to face him. "Stiles, look at me, please." The moment he did, I took his face in my hands and made his eyes stay connected to mine in an attempt to distract him from Scotts screams. "Everything's going to be fine, okay? This'll pass and he'll be back to normal by tomorrow, okay?" He nodded and Scott's screaming had finally stopped. Everything had stopped. I let go of Stiles and stood up, heading towards the door as Stiles spoke.
"Scott? Are you okay?" There was no response. "Scott?" I pushed open the door and what we saw was no Scott but we did see opened, bloodied cuffs and an open window with a blood trail. I sighed and followed Stiles out of the house.

"Where the hell did he go?"
"Do you think he went to Allison?" I sat in the Jeep with Stiles as we went on a little adventure to find our missing best friend, although coming across a police scene instead. Upon seeing a body Stiles pulled over and went into a little panic, which I sadly had to witness before he actually found his dad, safe. I stayed sat in the Jeep as the two of them talked.
"Everything okay?" I asked as Stiles jumped back into the car. He nodded and put his hand on top of my head and lightly stroked down my hair, pulling me close enough to him for him to gently press a kiss to the top of my head. That was strange.... "You sure?" He nodded again with a small smile.
We drove home in silence, Stiles taking occasional glances at me on the way as I stared out of the window, heading straight to my room once we got back.
