Stiles and Scott were speeding down the streets somewhere in Beacon Hills, following police cars in pursuit of a mysterious beast. And so a plan was concocted to get Lydia, after dealing with this.

"Unit Five heading northwest on Crescent reporting an incredibly large...something." Stiles had connected me up to the police radios and I could hear everything that was being said. Scott and Stiles were in the Jeep, while I was on a motorbike that formerly belonged to Aiden. When he had died, Ethan let me keep it as a sort of peace offering and memory, so I was following along beside the Jeep.

"Unit Nine, to Dispatch, I think I've got eyes on the same thing. Some kind of rabid animal." I spared the two boys next to me a quick glance and Stiles shook his head.

"Unit Five to Nine, trust me, that's no animal." Everyone accelerated.

"Unit Six to Dispatch. We have a situation downtown. Multiple fatalities."

"Copy, medics on the way. Do you have a perp in sight, Unit Six?"

"Negative, looks like a 10-91E. Animal attack."

"All units, stay back. Do not engage, Do not engage." I heard Stiles' voice and rolled my eyes.

"Stiles, get off the radio." It wasn't long ago, but since Sheriff Stilinski took me out on calls, everyone at the station had agreed to allow me to have a sort of internship there. And thus, I was allowed on these little escapades.

"All units, wait for back-up."

"Unit Five reporting a sighting on Hill Road southbound."

"Unit Nine, I've got it turning off Oakridge, southbound of Beachwood."

"All units, this is Dispatch, we've got a 911 with additional sightings on Mitchell." There was more acceleration and I realised something at the same time my two best friends seemed to. I pressed on a certain spot on my bike handle.

"All units, this is Hale, I believe it's headed for the hospital. It's headed for Beacon Memorial."

I got to the hospital before anyone else because I happened to exceed the speed limit and such...and I immediately entered through the emergency door, finding everyone leaving. When I was in, I saw Melissa go to explore the hospital to find where a certain source of noise was coming from.

"Melissa?" I called out, but she had walked around the corner. I heard the elevator screeching. The doors opened and I heard a roar, immediately grabbing Melissa's hand and started running for the main door.

"Does anyone have Parrish's 20?"

"He's at Beacon Memorial! Parrish is here!"

"Dispatch to all units, we have a 911 reporting a man on fire running into Beacon Memorial."

Stiles and Scott arrived just as I slipped the bike helmet off. Stiles quickly pressed a quick kiss to my cheek before pulling me into the building with him and Scott. Once we were in, Sheriff Stilinski appeared behind us and cocked his gun.

"Hallow." I whispered, and the teenager appeared just ahead of us with my book of shadows, his mother holding it. She put it into the bag Hallow had slung over his shoulder before offering me a shallow bow and disappearing into the shadows, probably back to her dimension. I sent her a smile before she disappeared.

"Fourth floor." Scott said after hearing a snarl in the silence. I smiled at the group.

"See you up there." I looked to my familiar. "Hallow." Hallow took a hold of my arm and we disappeared into the shadows before appearing in them on a higher floor. Parts of the walls were on fire and other parts of the furniture also were. The lights were flickering and it was eerily quiet.
