*Kyle's P.O.V.*

I had her in my hands. Less than twenty-four hours ago, I held her on the rooftop, looking into her sparkling (e/c) eyes, and now I was watching her walk away.

"Don't ever talk to me again," she spat at me, before leaving the gym.

I couldn't help but let out a heavy sigh as I let myself hit the brick wall for support. I felt my heart sink to my gut. I didn't cry, but I wanted to. I wanted to burst out into tears, but I felt dry. I felt empty. What was there left to cry about? I saw the look on her face, and it was clear that she didn't want to speak to me again. I had already lost my reason to cry before I could shed a tear and try to fight for her.

I felt myself let out a shaky breath as I slide to the floor. I really fucked everything up. I really went on living this double life like it was fine. I'm fucking pathetic.

I felt a single tear shed down my cheek when suddenly the gym door went flying open, causing me to wipe it away instantly.

"Kyle, where are you?" Stan called above me, not bothering to see that I was right next to him.

"KYLE—"

"Stan," I interrupted him.

He turned and looked down to me. He looked unimpressed with the scene that was probably caused in the classroom, but I was done caring about his opinion. His opinion was the reason I'm even in this mess.

"What are you doing down there?" he asked, looking annoyed. "And what the hell is going on?"

I let out a sigh. "You're going to be pissed."

"I'm already pissed," Stan grumbled, sitting next to me on the ground. "Why was that stupid costume in your bag? And why was (Y/N) all triggered from it? Like, what has been up with you—"

"I've been dressing as the Human Kite and sneaking off to see (Y/N)," I bluntly said.

Stan didn't say anything at first. I was worried he was fuming, but when I looked at him, he held a blank expression. That was until he burst out into laughter.

"Dude, are you fucking serious?" Stan laughed. "You've got to be kidding me...you've been cheating on Bebe as the Human Kite—"

I quickly elbowed him in the stomach to get him to shut up.

"Alright...aright, I'm sorry I laughed," Stan apologized, still trying to regain his composure. "Why don't you take me though all of this, yeah?"

I looked him in the eye, and I could tell he was being serious.

I licked my lips. "It all started weeks ago, when I told you I wouldn't see her...well, I didn't really want to do that, but (Y/N) already knew about Bebe, so if she didn't know my true identity, I could play it off until the time was right, you know?"

Stan let out a sigh. "Man, I'm sorry. I feel like this is kind of my fault. I really pushed you on the whole Bebe thing- you told me you liked (Y/N) ...I can't blame you...forgive me?"

I couldn't help but laugh at his serious tone. "Dude stop getting all sentimental. You know I'm not going to be mad at you."

Stan smiled back at me. "Good because Bebe is pissed."

I hadn't even thought about that situation yet. I had left myself with quiet the mess. I could try to salvage the situation. I know Stan would appreciate it, but that wasn't me. We both knew that, and I couldn't keep acting like a person I wasn't.

"Hey...we'll deal with it together, okay? It's going to be a pain for the both of us," Stan nonchalantly said, probably noticing the concern on my face.

I gave him a nod in agreement before we both stood up. We started heading towards the classroom when the final bell rang. Luckily, we were able to blend in with a crowd, letting us come in on time and unnoticed by anyone.
