~Time Skip~

*Kyle's P.O.V.*

Usually school gossip would dissolve in a week or so, but it had been a month since everyone found out about my Hero scandal; and people were still talking about it. The guys wouldn't shut up about it, and the girls would hardly look at me. But when they did, they were usually glaring at me or stifling a laugh. At first, I didn't really get too bothered by it, but at this point, I was starting to get pissed.

"Ope, everyone, watch out for your girlfriend. The Human Kite is here," Clyde cackled as I sat at the lunch table.

"Oh my God, would you all just shut the hell up already?" I snapped.

Everyone around the table stopped laughing as they all stared at me in silence.

"Clyde, you were dressed like an idiot that night, so was Stan, Cartman, Token, don't even get me started on Butters—"

"Okay, but did they cheat?" Craig cut me off.

"Oh Jesus!" Tweek commented, next to him.

Craig sat at the end of the table, usually never saying anything. But, of course, today of all days, he has something to say.

"You see Kyle," Craig continued, looking up at me, "the rest of us may have gotten drunk and dressed up and played superheroes- that's not gay shit. What's gay is putting on a superhero costume to go cheat on your girlfriend. That's why they're making fun of you. So, you can fuck off with that 'YoU wErE aLl DrEsSeD uP tOo' bull shit."

Everyone's eyes were back on me for some sort of response, but I didn't have one. He was absolutely right. My argument was completely invalid and so was just about every other word to come out of my mouth as well. It wasn't everyone else's fault that I fucked up so badly.

I looked across the cafeteria where (Y/N) sat with the girls. She sat right next to Heidi and Red and right across from Bebe. All the girls laughed together. I was happy to see that they were all getting along. I was really glad to see that this hadn't taken a blow to (Y/N) like it did me.

But I couldn't help but wonder, was she even hurting...maybe I was just pathetic...

"No, you're right...I'm the only one who made an actual idiot out of themselves," I sighed, stabbing my straw into my juice.

I couldn't help but notice a sympathetic look from Stan, but the others carried on with their comments. I guess it was all fine as long as they were at me. If the situation is going to be talked about, I'd rather be the laughing stalk than her...
