Chapter 39

YN pov

Well everything turned out to be uncomfortable between Tae and I. Both of us didn't have the guts to talk about the kiss that we shared, so we remained in our rooms for the rest of the day.

We only went out when it was necessary after making sure that the other one wasn't out of the room. If one word could describe our condition then it was AWKWARD.

Even at work the next day we behaved normally. We only interacted when necessary. Sehun even didn't bother me. I thought he would react in a scary way but surprisingly he is silent or may be this is the silence before the storm.

The day ended up normally and we returned to our house tired. We had our dinner in complete silence. Honestly, it was not at all comfortable. We went to our respective rooms to call it a night.

The following day Tae and I were in an elevator. Suddenly the lights went off and the elevator stopped. I started panicking and shouted for help. I looked towards Taehyung only to find him crouched down with his head in his hands.

I knew Taehyung was scared of closed places and darkness. Seeing him, my fear completely vanished. I went upto him and held him comforting him. Saying repeatedly, It's alright, I'm here with you.

He hugged me and said, "Don't leave me YN."

"I will never." was my reply.

Soon the lights were back on and the elevator started moving. That was the moment that made everything normal between us as it made us realise that no matter what we got each others back. We broke the hug but Taehyung was still holding my hand.

My phone started ringing and the name of the person that I desperately wanted to talk flashed on my screen. I let go of Taehyung's hand and picked up the call smiling.

"Jungkook." I said and exited the elevator.

"How are you Mrs. Jeon?" he asked in his honey voice.

"Am great. How are you Mr. Jeon?" I asked him and heard him giggle a little.

I turned back and found Taehyung standing still in the elevator looking at the hand that I let go. Did I unknowingly hurt him? I was about to walk towards him but Jungkook's voice brought made me concentrate on him.

"I'm great. I'm just missing you." he said and I can clearly imagine a pout on his cute face.

"I'm missing you too Jungkook." I smiled and gestured Taehyung to join me. He slowly came out giving me a forced smile.

"I'm sorry Yn. It's all my mistake." said Jungkook.

"No its not your mistake. It..." I was about to say but Jungkook cut me off.

"I'm sorry for Jess' behaviour. I know she can be very rude at times. I guess this is her way of working. But I'm sorry that it hurt you." he said.

"Jungkook...." I was about to say its alright but he looked in a hurry.

"Okay. I need to go. Love you. Wait for me and trust me Mrs. Jeon." he shouted.

"I am waiting for you. Love you too Jungkook." I shouted to match his energy.

"Bye." he said before cutting the call.

"He is such a kid, isn't he?" Taehyung commented laughing a little.

"Yeah, he is." I smiled at him.

Next day, Tae had his scenes to be shot with Irene. Sehun was no where to be seen on the set. I was relieved.
