Chapter 64

Jungkook pov

YN and I were having our breakfast. When she started laughing quietly. She was trying to muffle her quiet laughs but was failing miserably.

I furrowed my eyebrows at her. Why is she laughing? Then I noticed that she was laughing at me. What's wrong with me? I looked at my reflection in my mobile and noticed that I had milk all over my lips. May be I was drinking it messily.

I looked at her wiping my lips. Now she didn't even try to laugh quietly. She started laughing at me loudly. She looked so breath taking that it made my heart skip a beat. I continued looking at her when she was laughing.

The inner peace that I have been searching for all this time, the inner peace that I thought would be in destroying her was actually in her laugh, was in seeing her happy. Now I know she is my home, she is my relaxation.

I got up, lifted her and made her sit on my lap. I started caressing her cheeks. I tucked her loose strands behind her ear. I was about to kiss her but her expression made me stop. She looked too scared.

Her eyes were closed. Her hands were holding my shoulders tightly as if she would fall any moment. I can understand its because of the way I have been treating her. Especially what I did last night.

"I know u need time. I'm ready to give you all the time of this world. I will be patient with u." I said making her open her eyes. I made her sit on her chair and sat down kneeling in front of her.

"I don't know if you can ever forgive me YN, but I want you to try and do it. I want to start a new life with you forgetting everything about our past."  I said smiling hopefully at her. I took her hands in mine and kissed them.

She smiled back at me. "I forgive you Jungkook. I want to move on from our past too. I want you to trust me the way you did before. And I'm willing to you give you time for that too. I love you Jungkook. I want to be with you forever." saying this she joined our foreheads.

"I love you too." I said.

A week passed and Jungkook and YN started living happily without giving concern to anything else. Jess on the other hand was burning with rage seeing YN and Jungkook happy. Yes, they started coming to the company.

Everything was slowly turning normal. YN still doesn't interact with Tae as she doesn't have the courage to look in his eyes. Taehyung still believes that Jungkook is hurting YN and keeping her away from Taehyung. But little does he know, Jungkook slowly started forgiving Taehyung too.

In the free time, Jungkook was discussing his schedule with Jess. And Jess being Jess started flirting with him, reminding him about the night where she almost got Jungkook. He was trying to avoid that topic but she was bringing it out again and again.

"Don't you have any mercy on me Jungkook?" she said faking a hurt tone.

Jungkook looked at her. Confusion was the only thing displayed on his face. "What do you mean?" he asked as quietly as possible.

"After using me that night how can you leave me just like that?" she asked making him widen his eyes.

Jungkook looked at his surroundings and saw that the room was filled with people. He caught Jess by her wrist and pulled her with him, practically dragging her to her studio.

YN noticed everything from far. Though she couldn't listen to their conversation but the way Jess was touching him and smirking without his notice made it clear that her intensions were not right. It was crystal clear that she was flirting with Jungkook which made YN angry.

'Why am I jealous? She is just his assistant.' she thought but was very uncomfortable with the way Jungkook pulled Jess with him. The thought that may be Jungkook and Jess were closer than she imagined was making her uneasy.

'Now I know why was I not angry when Taehyung and Irene were flirting because I didn't love him. Though Jungkook isn't flirting with Jess but the way Jess is flirting with him is making me angry because I love him.' she concluded.

"What's wrong with you Jess? When did I use you? It was you who tried to take advantage of my drunken state." he spat angrily.

"Jungkook, I..." before she could reason out,

"Stop it Jess." Jungkook said gritting his teeth. "My life is finally becoming better. Don't try to spoil it. Stop your little games." he said angrily.

Jungkook and Jess came back from the studio. Jungkook noticed that his wife was looking at him continuously in a suspecting way. Though she pretended that she was indulged in a conversation with her Suga Hyung whenever he looked her way.

Jungkook went upto then smirking and said, "Hyung can I have a moment with my wife?"

Suga just shrugged it off making Jungkook pull his wife with him. She tried to stop him but he wasn't in a mood to listen.

Taehyung, who saw the entire thing thought that may be Jungkook is hurting her. He decided that something should be done soon to save YN. He decided it should be done soon.

Jungkook took her to his studio locking the door behind him. He pinned her to the door and looked in her eyes. "Why is my wife looking so dull?" he whisper in her ear.

"Jungkook..." he put a finger on her lips preventing her from saying anything else.

"If you think there's something going on between Jess and I, then you are wrong YN. I can't look at any other girl in that way. For me you are and will always be my only one." he said now looking at her sweetly.

She hugged him tightly letting her tears fall. "I'm scared of losing you Jungkook. I don't want to commit mistakes again. I want to live with you happily forever. Its just that I'm so insecure. Please help me." she said refusing to let him go.

He hugged her back. Even he was scared of losing her. He kissed he forehead, her nose, her lips." Why do you think that way? "he asked.

"I'm afraid you won't believe me." she said sniffling.

He furrowed his brows and asked, "Why? Just tell me already."

"It's because of Jess." she finally said.

"Look if you are thinking that..." he was cut off by her next words.

"Jess was the one who told me that you and  Taehyung shifted their studios. She was the one who sent me to Tae's studio the other day." she said trying to convince Jungkook.
