Chapter 58

Suga, who was sitting next to Jimin smacked his head hard making him scream an 'Oww'.

"Is everything alright between you and Jungkook?" asked Suga and  YN's face became pale.

"Of course Oppa." she said.

"I don't think so." replied Suga increasing her heartbeat. "You are lying. You made up the answer."

"I didn't..."

"You never called me Oppa. You were so distracted to answer my question that you forgot you call me Hyung." Suga declared.

"No I wasn't. I called you Oppa intentionally plus isn't is what you always wanted to be called?" said YN trying to convince Suga.

But Suga, the genius didn't buy her excuse.

"Done with your interrogation? Now are you all satisfied that YN is alright?" asked Jungkook standing in the door way.

"Yes. Thank you for taking care of her." said Suga making Jungkook feel guilty as he knows that Suga is the one who cares the most for YN.

YN smiled at everyone and asked her leave. On their way, they bumped into Taehyung. As soon as Tae looked at YN, he forget about the existence of the entire world.

"Are you alright YN. Why weren't you replying to my texts?" he asked completely ignoring the presence of his Maknae.

"I didn't find time." YN said clearly looking uneasy.

She looked at Jungkook biting her lip. He was already glaring at her making her  uneasier than she already was.

"We should get going." she said holding Jungkook's hand and was about to walk away. Taehyung held her other hand making her stop in her tracks.

When Jungkook noticed him holding YN's hand, he pulled her hand off his hold.

"What do you want V Hyung?" Jungkook snarled.

"I am talking to YN, Kookie. Give us a minute,alone." V said calmly.

"Whatever you want to say, say it to both of us." said YN clearly scared that Jungkook may hurt Taehyung.

"Well then. How does he treat you? Does he hurt you?" Taehyung said now staring at Jungkook.

"Why would he hurt me? He treats me with love. Isn't that why he married me?" YN said now looking Jungkook who was busy glaring at Taehyung.

"Don't lie YN. I know what he does to you. He admitted himself. So why are you hiding?"  Taehyung said now looking at YN. "He hurts you, doesn't he?" he asked making YN gulp.

"Didn't she already answer you? What more do you want Kim Taehyung?" Jungkook barged in middle. "Stop showing your concern towards my wife. I know how to treat her. So worry about yourself." he gritted through his teeth.

Jungkook held YN's hand tightly and dragged her out of the place. They both reached home. He pushed her on the sofa clearly unaware of Mrs. Kim's presence in the kitchen. She gasped loudly making him stop in his way that he was making towards YN.

Mrs. Kim stood in front of  YN shielding her from Jungkook's wrath. "If she did something wrong, please talk it out. Have mercy on her." she said pleading.

Jungkook sighed heavily. "You have no idea what kind of a woman she is." he said in a calm tone.

"Whatever it is Mr. Jeon, she is your wife. She needs to be respected by you." was Mrs. Kim's reply.

Jungkook didn't find any words to reply so he just left for his room. He went and laid on his bed. He closed his eyes trying to calm himself down but it wasn't working. However, Without even realising, he fell sleep.

He woke up in the night because  YN's mobile was constantly buzzing with notification tone. He found out the sender's name to be Kim Taehyung. This time he wanted to see how far can they go so he unlocked the phone. He decided to read the entire unread conversation.

He started reading the messages one after the other.

TAE: Don't agree to marry him, he will only hurt you.

It was dated before their marriage.

TAE : I know I was wrong. It was my mistake that I didn't tell you that Jungkook was waiting for you. But please trust me it just slipped off my mind. I didn't mean to break you guys apart.

It was a day before their marriage.

TAE: Please don't ignore me YN. I admit I was wrong but please don't agree to marry him worrying about the reputation of the company. I'm sure Jungkook is only marrying you to get his revenge.

It was also a day before marriage.

TAE :How are you YN? How does he treat you? I'm scared for you. Please reply me.

It was on the next day of their marriage.

TAE: Please just tell me you are happy with him and I will never disturb you.

It was on the third day of the marriage.

TAE: I hope you are doing well YN and Jungkook is treating you well. I hope you are happy in your marriage life. I know you never loved me but I did. I only loved you and you always loved him. I know that Jungkook isn't treating you well. Don't worry when he gives up on his revenge and decides to let you go, I'm ready to make you mine forever. Just don't lose hope.

It was a text from few days ago.

TAE: Jungkookie and I kind of had a fight. He never even raised his voice on me but today he punched me. I cannot even imagine what is he doing to you..... Please don't bear it.... Please just let me know..... Please give me any hint if you want to be with me....

It was on the day of Taekook's fight.

TAE: Are you alright YN? I'm afraid for you. Can we meet please?

It was the text that Jungkook read the other day.

There were other texts that Taehyung sent today asking YN's whereabouts and other stuffs. YN didn't reply to any of his texts. The last text that YN sent was the day before Jungkook proposed YN to marry him.

YN: I'm sorry Taehyung. I feel horrible for using you. But the truth is I was totally hurt and just needed a distraction from my problems and you happened to be that.... If you can ever forgive me.. I will be so grateful......

Today is my last day in Korea.... I will not return with you guys.... I just wanted to let you know that you will forever be my best friend... Please try to forgive me and move on Tae.... You deserve someone who loves you, not uses you like I did..... I hope you will find your true love soon...

Jungkook felt his heart becoming tighter. This conversation only added extra guilt to his heart right after the guilt he felt after lying to Suga. He hurt her thinking that she was still in touch with him but after knowing that she stopped texting him right after she was fated to marry Jungkook, made him regret all his deeds.

The words "Needed a distraction from my problems " "Used you Taehyung" "You always loved him" made him realise that everything that happened was never out of love or lust.

'Only if I listened to my heart things would be so different now. It's not late yet. Let me follow my heart.' he smiled looking at Yn.
