I've been keeping my word with Matt about how I'll come to NYC everyday.

I hate The Bronx. I go to a shitty school. More shitter than Bishop.

Funny story: The first day I came to my new school in The Bronx, everybody was already scared of me.

I guess they knew me from Bishop. They knew who I was.

Today I'm going over to Matt's place, once again to talk about our day and random stuff.

I pulled over to Matt's driveway as I saw him sitting on his porch. "Hey." he said. "What's up?" I said getting out of my car.

"Lets walk around Central Park yea?" he said. I nodded.

-
As we arrived Central Park we just walked around and made small talk.

"How was your day?" he asked. "Same as yesterday, and the day before that, and the day before that." I replied.

"Just think, next year we will be seniors, and then off to college. Just like that." Matt said.

"I'm not going to college." I paused, "nor finishing high school."

"What?"

"I'm dropping out."

"Stop Andrea. You can't be serious." he spoke as he stopped walking. "But I am."

"You out of all people should know I was never meant for school, and school was never meant for me." I said.

"Can I change your mind about that?" he asked.

"You can try."

"I challenge myself that I can change your mind about dropping out in 2 weeks." He said.

"Deal! But if you fail, hmm," I paused looking around Central Park. I looked around and saw a light pole with a poster on it.

It read: Wicked (A broadway musical) On for five weeks at broadway on broadway street!

Perfect. I smirked, "You have to go see a broadway show with me."

"What kind of broadway show?" he cringed.

"Wicked."

*2 weeks later*

"Haha Matt! You lost the bet! You gotta take me to see Wicked!"

"Yeah yeah!" he said annoyed.

"Does tomorrow sound good?" he asked. I nodded.

-

Fuck. It was 7:30 pm and Wicked started at 6:25 pm.

Damn it Matt.

He was late due to 'gas' and he didn't have any 'money'.

Bullshit! I know he's just trying to get out of seeing Wicked.

He's told me before that broadway and broadway musicals, aren't his thing.

Well they aren't mine either, but hopefully I can change my own mind about that.

I literally pulled Matt out of my house as he started driving towards broadway.

Of course we were late and we sat down at our seats having no clue what was going on right now.

What the fuck is 'Wicked' anyway?

I just saw it because it seemed like something Matthew would hate.

As soon as we sat down a women on stage with a pink puffy dress came out and a women that was green who had a big mole.

The pink fairy like was sitting on one bed, while the Fiona sat on the other bed.

I literally just made up names for the Wicked characters wow. Smart Andrea, smart!

The pink fairy started singing:

'"Whenever I see someone less fortunate than I, and lets face it.

Who isn't, less fortunate than I? My tender heart tends to start to bleed, and when someone needs a makeover, I simply have to take over! I know, I know! Exactly, what they need!

And even in your case, though its the toughest case I've you to face. Don't worry! Im determined to succeed! Follow my lead, and yes indeed! You. Will. Be.

Popular!

Your gonna be popular!"

Wow thanks for telling me something I already am. The song was actually good to be honest. Well at least for me.

I listened as she still continued.

"I'll teach you the proper poise when you talk to boys! Little ways to flirt and flounce! Ooh!

I show you what shoes to wear how to fix your hair!

Everything that really counts to be popular! I'll help you be popular! You'll hang with the right cohorts! You'll be good at sports! Learn the slang you've got now!

So lets start cause you got an awfully long way to go!"

I looked over at Matt as he seemed to be interested? In this? I mean don't get me wrong, I thought it was interesting too.

"Don't be offended by my frank analysis! Think of it as personality dialysis!

Now that I've chosen to become a pal, a sister, and advisor. There's nobody wiser! Not when it comes to popular! I know about popular! And with an assist from me, to be who you'll be, instead of dreary who you were. Well are!

There's nothing that can stop you from becoming popular! Lar!

La! La! La! You'll be popular!

Just not.. Quite as popular.. As Me!"

-

Wicked was now officially over, and I was upset it ended. Wicked was amazing.

Broadway is amazing.

I wonder how Matt feels.

"Hey Matt?" I asked on our way to The Bronx so he could take me 'home'.

"Hmm?"

"What did you think about Wicked?"

"I thought it was great. Honestly. Broadway is breath taking." he responded.

"The stage was beautiful. I wonder how it would feel like to be on Broadway. And to wonder how it would be like to be a Broadway star." I said.

"Me too. Or just famous in generally." Matt said.

"Popular! Your gonna be popular! And with an assist from me to be who you'll be, instead of dreary who you were, well are. There's nothing that can stop you from becoming popular!" I sang.

Matt stepped on the brakes and looked at me.

"Oh gosh. Im so sorry. I didn't mean to sing. The song was catchy I just-"

"You sing like a broadway star did ya know that?" he said.

I shook my head.

"Well you do now."

-

As I arrived home I went online and searched up information about Broadway.

Wicked just inspired me to become something, someone.

A legend.

A star.

A broadway star.

Broadway and Wicked taught me to be, well,

Wicked.
