Matt and I have to go to work today. Our first day at our first job.

Pretty shocking huh? Me out of all people working.

Matthew and I are going to start working at a small little dinner in Manhattan.

I fixed my uniform which was a red dress. Gross. I hate dresses.

Matthew and I were of course, late.

"You are trying to tell me you are late because he had to fix his hair?" the manger asked us and pointed at Mathew.

I nodded.

"Shouldn't it be the other way around?" the manger asked us.

"Are you calling me a huto?" Matthew asked.

"Matt shut up." I muttered.

"Anyways, your first day here, guess what you'll be doing? Cleaning dishes! Get straight to work!"

I sighed as Matt and I walked in the kitchen looking at all the dirty dishes ready to be cleaned.

I started cleaning and so did Matt. Well that was until Matt decided to throw soap at me.

"Hey!" I yelled.

"Oh c'mon, live a little!" he replied.

"Oh your asking me how to live?" I said deciding to throw soap back at him.

We ended up having a soap war.

At the end we were both covered in soap.

As I was about to clean up I forgot that the floor was also covered in soap, so I slipped.

I almost hit the floor face first, until I felt strong arms hold me.

"Remember whenever you fall I'll make sure to catch you, just make sure whenever I fall, you'll catch me as well." He whispered.

He lifted me back up, and as he did the manger came into the kitchen.

"What the hell is this?! I knew that I couldn't trust hiring dumbass teenagers!" he yelled.

"You and You," he paused pointing at both Matt and I, "Your both fucking fired!"

"Damn I'd never thought I'd lose my job by being in a soap war." I said as we walked out of the diner. Matt laughed.

"Thanks Matt. You know, for getting me fired." I said.

"Hey! You decided to play too!" he defended.

"Because you wouldn't stop throwing soap at me!" I laughed.

"Treehouse?" Matt asked. I nodded.

We sat down inside the treehouse with the lights inside turned on.

We sat in silence. It wasn't in awkward silence, more like a peaceful one.

"You know Andrea, you trying to shut me out from liking you bugs me a lot." Matt said.

I don't know what drove me to do this, but I shut him up by grabbing his face and kissing him.
