Chapter 2: A Short Battle

Hisoka threw his cards in the air, the cards floating and pointing towards Hisashi who was just smiling. He was well aware of who she was and what she just did to his former boss. He heard her name countless times already that it was constantly stuck in his head, his desire of meeting her growing stronger each day. He made the right choice of working under Santiago, the man who she just killed. He had predicted that he'd be the next target since Santiago was known for being a show-off.

"You know me, huh?" Hisashi cooed.

"Of course. Your were quite famous since everyone knew that your name meant death. Figuratively, of course. I, instead, was surprised. You know me, too, and you were quite aware of what I can do." Was she observing him all this time? He doesn't think so. She had other things to do rather than stalking him.

"Of course, you were quite famous as well." She winked at him, taking out the gun from the strap around her thigh. His eyes squinted at her gesture. How hot.

"I watched one of your matches, that one against that kid Gon in Heaven's Arena. It made my hand itch to join that pesky game of yours, since the poor kid got beaten up by someone as powerful as you taking him seriously." He raised his eyebrows and stood straight. So she saw his match with Gon? She can observe quite well despite her only seeing his match once. She really is scary, and that added fuel to the fire even more.

"Quite a sweet tongue you got there. I wonder how it would taste." He chuckled, making Hisashi raise her left eyebrow. Is he flirting now or is this really his perverted self talking?

"And as much as I look forward to fighting you, I'd prefer you to use your Nen instead of that gun." He pointed at the gun she was holding, making her pout. She raised her gun, staring straight at him. Her eyes are protesting and for a moment there, she looked like a little kid refused of her rights to play outside.

"But the bullets are Nen, too, doesn't it count as an exception?" She whined, clearly annoyed of not using her gun that she called The Little Vampire due to its purpose of sucking blood once it is already inside the host'a body.

"Is that so? Well, you got me there. Go ahead." Hisoka waved his hand. He knew that taunting her wouldn't do any good.

"Yeah! Thanks!" He grinned, quite amused by her reactions. He now knew why she was named the Crazy Assassin, though he was one to say.

"So, Hisa-chan, shall we?" He raised his right hand, three cards placed in each of the spaces between his fingers. Hisashi giggled liking the fact of facing an opponent worth of her time.

"Gladly."

Hisoka threw the first three cards towards her direction and moved to the side. Hisashi fired her gun to counter the cards before barely even dodging Hisoka's punch from behind.

"Ooops, I forgot that you're fast." She giggled and flipped in the air before firing her gun towards Hisoka's direction who just dodged it with ease.

"That was all you got?" Hisoka asked as he landed across the room. Hisashi made a peace sign, smiling widely.

"Sike!" Hisoka's eyes widened, seeing the bullets swerve. Crap. Of course she can control the bullets since it was made from her Nen. How beautiful.

"Nen, Hisoka, remember that!" She giggled at him while he dodged those bullets. He jumped from one place to another, even running on the wall and ceiling just to dodge the bullets. Once he almost collided with the wall, he took a sharp turn, the bullets piercing against the wall. He landed across the room, raising his head to look at her. You, yourself forgot something, Hisa-chan.

The rest of the cards attacked her, and when she was busy dodging those, he raised his left hand where the Bungee Gum connecting his index finger to her arm was located. He pulled her towards him earning a gasp from her. When she was in his range, he threw a punch, only for it to be dodged by her, his fist only a few inches away from her skin. So she can dodge at the last minute.

Her body collided with him, both of them falling on the floor with a loud thud with her on top of him.

"Oh, i'm sorry. I couldn't kick you since I'm wearing a skirt." A normal person who would hear this would literally disagree. Who would care for her skirt more than her own life? Well, definitely Hisashi. She's 'crazy' after all.

"It's too late, you flipped midair earlier." He told her, recalling what happened a few moments earlier. She closed her eyes intently, remembering what she did. She dropped her head on his chest, clearly cursing herself for being so careless.

"Hmmm, it seems like you are enjoying being on top of me, huh?" He said, amusement coating his voice. They were supposed to be after each other's throats and then this happened.

"I ain't gonna deny that." He grinned at her honest remark. "You got muscles at the right places, you're tall, you're strong, and I definitely know that you're handsome, especially with that hair of yours down. In short, you're hot as fuck. I don't mind being here."

"How amusing." He chuckled. "Quite blunt, I see. I like it."

"I know, I can feel you." He was getting even more and more fond of the idea of beating her, especially now that she shows the crazy side of hers to him. His heart was beating fast, almost bursting with excitement of winning against this lady on top of him. Though, he doesn't know why he felt satisfaction and joy when he hasn't beat her yet. Maybe because he met someone like him who only wants to fight and to be entertained? He doesn't know.

Both of their ears perked up, hearing frantic footsteps from outside of the room. Hisoka immediately stood up, taking her with him.

"They noticed already. Well, that was fast." Hisashi shrugged, putting her gun back on the strap. The moment she stood straight, Hisoka immediately gripped her arm and ran outside the veranda dragging her along with him just the same time as the door opened. He jumped and she had no other choice but to let him do his way.

They landed on another veranda few floors below, Hisoka landing with one knee on the floor and Hisashi landing butt first.

"Ow!" She exclaimed. "What's with me landing butt-first two times within fifteen minutes?" She complained before standing up, Hisoka doing the same deed.

"That means even the floor likes your body. You got a hot one, I admit." He dusted off the dust on his pants, that usual smile on his lips.

"Returning the compliments, I see. Your initiative is well appreciated." She winked, giggling before entering the room and not minding the screams of the people inside the room due to her act of trespassing.

It was such a short fight and it was full of chitchats instead of actions, but Hisoka knew he didn't stand a chance. She wasn't using her real abilities yet but she got him good. She was careless, always not thinking one step ahead, getting preoccupied of one thing easily, and always underestimating her opponents, but it didn't affect her fighting style that much. If she ever managed to land a blow on him when he pulled her using his Bungee Gum, his neck would've snapped and in worse case scenarios, he would've been decapitated. Thanks to the skirt she was wearing, his neck could be in a fine condition for a few days more. Though she does not need worry about her skirt since he saw what was underneath already.

He wants to see her using not only a fraction of her abilities, but monopolizing her full strength to defeat an opponent, and he wants that opponent to be him. Imagining that scenario in his mind, he couldn't help but to admire her figure as she walked away ever so casually, and seriously, it turns him on even more.
