"Chance.."

Ano ba ang dapat kong gawin? Litung-lito na ako sa mga ginagawa nya, sa sinasabi nya! Hindi ko na malaman pa yung gagawin ko.  He's giving me mixed signals that I can't take it. I don't.. wike it. 

Nanatiling ganoon ang posisyon namin habang hawak-hawak ko ang pisngi nya, miski mga salitang gustong lumabas sa bibig ko, ayaw na ring lumabas. 

Bakit.. ang hirap mong bitawan, Chance? 

"Iiwan mo na naman ba ako?" napapikit ako saka nginitian sya. "Uuwi lang ako, Chance... magkikita pa tayo sa graduation nating pareho.. makikita mo pa ako." 

Kinuha ko ang bag ko sa kanya saka naglakad papaalis ng bahay na tinutuluyan ko ng ilang araw. "Yara, please.. please don't go.." 

"Please don't leave me again, please.. Yara.. please..." 

"Chance.. please you're making this hard, for me.. for us.." I whispered as I stopped walking saka pumikit. Ang hirap nyang iwan, ang hirap nyang pakawalan. "Bakit.. ang dali para sa'yong iwan ako, Jiara?" 

"Jiara, please.." he seemed lonely. I can't. "Jiara.. please... I love you..." 

Lumingon ako sa kanya, sa gulat, sa lungkot, sa hindi maintindihang emosyon, "Chance.." I looked down. 

"I know you knew that I do love you," 

"You are?" napaangat ako ng tingin ng nagulat sya sa sinabi ko.

Ay pucha, akala ko alam nya!!!! bAKET AKO UMAMEN?!

"Uhm.. anyways, that's not the point," tanggi ko agad baka kung saan pa mapunta ang usapan. "Yes, it is!" umiling ako. 

"Hindi, Chance! Makinig ka muna sa akin," I sighed. "You see, you have Maica now, and you are annulled to me--" 

"We're not annulled, Jiara, kasal ka pa sa akin," I gave up. "That's why I'm telling you to continue the process of the annulment! I can't be with you! You just diverted your attention to me just to forget Maica, but now she's back! You can have all the freedom to tell the world how much you love her," I was looking at the floor then, I smiled as I locked my eyes to him. 

'because I know after all that we shared, it will just become a memory.. and you will have another chance with her.. not with me..' 

"You can finally continue your happily ever after with her.." I smiled at him. 

"Jiara, I told you, it's you.." I shook my head. "It's always been you.." 

I stepped back as I shook my head, "I don't want you to be confuse of what you are feeling," I looked up to him eye to eye, "Just.. give us time.. make up your mind, clear it." I sighed.
