you heard from Hermione that Harry isn't having a good morning. you try to find where he is, and when you find him, he's not in good shape. "Harry? what's wrong?" he's sweating and breathing heavily, you sit beside him, slowly reaching for his hand. "you okay?"

he looks at you slowly, looking like an absolute mess. "i had a dream about him" "who?" "v- you know who" "voldemort?" you whisper, he nods and looks away from you. "it's not real Harry..." "what if it is? what if he's inside my head" "he isn't, Harry he isn't. it's just a bad dream" "i can't just let it go. i need to look further into it"

"that's not a good idea" "i have to y/n, what if it isn't just a dream. i've been waiting for this moment since i moved here" "Harry talk to dumbledore before making any stupid decisions" "Dumbledore will stop me" "exactly" it goes silent, Harry sighs. "fine" "good... i have to get to a class but just talk to Dumbledore" "alright, see you later"

you hug him then walk out of the room.

you worry about Harry all day, so much that you can't focus in class at all. you try to put the pen to paper but worry so much about him. he hasn't come to any classes today, he must still be with Dumbledore. you're sitting alone, Hermione and Ron can't  stop sitting next to each other, so you're the one left out.

you wait to be dismissed so you can go check on Harry, but it feels like the class is never going to end. when it is finally over, you walk out of class and bump into Cedric. "oh Cedric, hi" "hey, what's up with you? you haven't really spoken to me since i told you i wrote the letter, i kinda thought that would make you talk to me more"

"oh... sorry yeah i've just been distracted lately, lots of drama..." "oh okay, well you wanna hang out later?" "um... i'm not sure really, i have to find Harry" "well after that" he seems very pushy about it. to be honest you didn't really want to hang out with him at first, but you decide if he truly wrote those things about you that you should give him a chance.

"okay, sure... i'll hang out with you" "cool, i'll see you tonight, here... 6" "alright, 6" "see you then" he smiles and kisses your cheek before walking away, you feel shocked and surprised as that has never happened to you before. you watch him walk away and smile, feeling your cheeks go pink.

you look around to find Harry again but see Malfoy and his friends watching... well Malfoy is watching you, not his friends. They're trying to get his attention, and they succeed because he looks away from you. you shake off any thoughts about whatever that was and begin trying to find Harry, starting with going to Dumbledore's office.

Draco looks back at where you were and is surprised to see you're already gone and out of sight.

you knock on Dumbledore's door and he lets you in. "miss y/l/n, how are you feeling?" "i'm good... did Harry leave?" "leave this office? he never saw me" "he didn't?" "no, is there something wrong with him?" "no, no..." "if there is you know you should tell me..." "i know, there's nothing wrong. he just told me he was coming here today, not sure why"

"okay... you doing well here?" "yeah, i love hogwarts... the people here are great" "i've noticed you speaking with Cedric Diggory" "yeah, he's a friend" "a friend?" "just a friend..." you laugh. "okay, well anything else you need from me?" "no, i'm good, thank you." "i'm always here"

you give him a warm smile then leave the room, your smile dropping when you remember Harry didn't show up. you look up from staring at your feet and see him, Harry. "oh Harry!" you run up to him, he looks much better then he did this morning. "hey, why didn't you see dumbledore?" "i realised it was probably just a dream, nothing to worry about"

"oh... good" his sudden change in mindsets confuses you a lot, but you decide not to talk about it. "yeah, i have to go" "where are you off to?" "i'm trying to find Hermione, she left something with me" "oh okay, so you're okay?" "yes, I'm okay. thank you for caring" "of course".

later that night you get changed and ready to meet Cedric. you don't really dress up, you just get into comfy clothes. you walk to the spot he asked you to meet him and see him sitting on a ledge, alone. you smile a little and sit beside him "hey" he jumps and laughs. "hi, you came" "yeah of course"

"i wanted to ask you something" "oh sure" "listen i meant everything in that letter, how beautiful you are and all that... so i was wondering if maybe you wanted to try something" "try what?" "um... dating, me..." "like in a relationship?" "yeah, would you want that? because i am asking"

you think about it for a few seconds, feeling unsure at first but letting go of any negative thoughts about it. "oh... sure i'd be okay with that" you say with a soft smile.

"really? so we are together then? everyone knows?" "yeah, sure" you laugh. it makes you nervous to be in your first relationship with someone who has a reputation of being around every female in the school but it excites you too. you do find Cedric very attractive, and he can be charming.

you ignore all the bad things Malfoy said about him because you only see the good things.

and on the topic of Malfoy, you don't know that he is watching this from a few feet away. he watches Cedric kiss you, and feels a weird feeling. he takes a photo with an old camera he has, like he's going to use it against you. he walks off and you pull away from Cedric, very surprised. you look around because you thought you heard someone walking away.

"you okay?" "yeah..." you look at him and smile. you have no idea how you're going to let down Fred... he admitted he liked you and yet you're with someone else. and how are you going to tell your friends? i'm sure Cedric will end up spreading the word for you.
