"Harry... i need to tell you something" his smile drops when he sees how concerned you look, you look terrified if he's being honest. "what is it?" "well... i was warned by someone that voldemort isn't just after you, he's after me... and he's coming soon" "wait... what? who told you this? they could be lying or-"

"a death eater told me okay?" "a death eater... you talk to them?" "i can't tell you who it is but i trust them a lot" "okay... well we have to stick together then, prepare. i'll up the lessons, teach everyone much harder spells" "i don't know when he's going to be here Harry but, i'm scared"

"i know... it's okay, we have eachother. you tell Ron and Hermione, i'll let the others know that we need to learn more" "alright..." "y/n, it'll be okay..." "thank you" you give him a warm smile before walking away from him. your head is down, staring at your feet as they take a new step, thinking about voldemort and malfoy.

you're lost in your thoughts when you quickly fall to the ground after being tripped. you land on your back, groaning as you sit up on your elbows, seeing Pansy standing infront of you. "if it isn't little miss possessed by the dark lord" "what do you want?" you ask with a loud eye roll, you're so not up for her shit.

"i'm just wondering how the possession is going, break any noses lately?" "no, but I'm wondering how yours is, looks a little crooked there-" "hey!" she pushes you down to the ground with her foot on your chest, staring down at you. "get your filthy feet off of me" "i think i should get some revenge for what you did, don't you?"

"what i did to you was just karma for what you did to malfoy!" you shout a little too loud, students watching this everywhere. "like i said, i never did anything to him" "yeah and i'm a slytherin" you say sarcastically, pansy taking her foot off of you. you brush off any dirt on your uniform, getting up off the ground, getting close to her.

"listen Pansy, i know we can't do any practical magic... but if i see you bothering anyone, including malfoy, and myself again... well i'm willing to break the rules" you whisper, walking away from her and the crowd, you push through the crowd before stopping at Malfoy standing infront of you.

"you're still here?" "i didn't want to leave you yet" "malfoy-" "look, you can hate me all you want, that doesn't mean i can't still have feelings for you..." you both stare eachother in the eyes, feeling your stomach flutter, filled with butterflies. "i have to go... i have a battle to prepare for"

"don't you have like... a professor not letting you do magic?" "yeah... but that doesn't stop me" "of course not" he laughs, a smile on your face. "see you around malfoy" "later darling" you stare at him, almost a death glare, which just makes him laugh. "i'm sorry, can i not call you that?"

"you know you can't" "do you think i'm the kind of person to... listen to what i'm asked?" "no, actually i don't know why i was surprised... see you later draco..." "see you around y/n, and hey..." he grabs your arm gently before you can walk away, looking you in the eyes.

"you're a strong witch. i believe you can defeat him, you and potter together are one of the most powerful duos there is" "thank you..." you smile at him before walking away. you feel regretful of your decision a few weeks ago, but it was the best for you... you think.

you try to find Ron and Hermione to let them know what's going on, your back is pretty sore from falling on it. you wonder how you got into so much drama, you used to be such a sweet and gentle person and now you're forced to defend yourself in some of the harshest ways possible.

Maybe this proves Malfoy is bad for you... a lot of drama and baggage comes with dating him like... crazy close friends who are inlove with him, or losing your bestfriends because of how often he bullied them, or losing who you are... but maybe you've just unleashed who you truly are.

i mean after years of trauma, abandonment and mental health struggles, why would you end up being a soft girl who is nice to everyone? it makes no sense really. Maybe voldemort was right about you, maybe he is bringing out who you truly are, a bad person.

the thought of hurting people has come across your mind plenty of times, but you've always been scared of fighting back incase you hurt them worse than they hurt you. maybe your instincts were right, you would hurt them more. you start to overthink and worry about things you shouldn't be, wondering if you truly are a bad person at heart.
