It was the day of the ball and we where all getting ready I tied may hair into a neat bun and did a brown smokey eye with winged liner and a natural pink lipstick color. Satisfied with my appearance I slipped on my dress and heels I turned to Hermione and Ginny as the both squeal with excitement "Mason is going to love you in that" said Ginny as I smile "thanks girl well I have to go meet him there so see you in a few" I said stepping out of the room and walking down to the great hall which had been decorated for the ball. When I arrive Mason was waiting by the bottom of the steps for me and the twins where not to far from him, Hermione and Ginny passed me as they walked in with both Seamus and Dean. Mason turned around along with the twins and I smiled at him as he gave me a big smile back. He extended his hand and I took it "you look very beautiful tonight Camila" he said as he kissed my hand causing my smile to get bigger "you dont look half bad yourself Mason" I responded "shall we then" he said extending his arm for me as I smiled and nodded my head. I could see the look George was giving us as we walked into the ball, everyone was enjoying themselves as the talked and had drinks, we sat at a table with Hermione and talked about anything we could think of. It was my turn to sing a song so I excused myself and went to the stage the music started and people gathered on the dance floor.

As I was singing I noticed George and Annie dancing as she smirked at me causing me to roll my eyes at her

I finished my song and everyone clapped my next song would be after four other songs, so deciding I had time to dance with Mason I did we danced to the song A thousand years then went to our seats. I was talking with Hermione when Mason tapped my shoulder "would you like a drink Camila" he asked as i smiled "yes please" I replied as he nodded placing a kiss on my cheek before giving me a small smile, he left to get us drinks and i turned back to Hermione to see Fred next to her with a smile on their faces "what why are you staring at me with those creepy smiles" i said with my own smile "you like him" teased Fred "oh shut it you" I retorted playfully still smiling "he might be just what I need honestly" i said looking towards the drink table "i think so" said Hermione as Fred slightly frowned at that "what about George" he asked causing my smile to fall "what about him he obviously has found perfect company for his needs" I said as I looked over at Annie running her hands up and down his chest as he looked at us. I turned away quickly telling myself that I need to give other guys a chance until George figured out what he wanted "right then sorry for mentioning it" replied Fred as he stood back up heading to his date Angelina. Mason came back with my drink and I thanked him as he sat down next to me again "hey wanted to go get some air?" He asked me as I turned back to him "sure" I said with a smile as we walked out of the great hall and to the court yard "here you look cold" he said as he placed his coat over my shoulders "your to sweet Mason honsetly" I said as we stopped under the tree "well someone as beautiful and talented as you deserves the best" he said as it began to rain on us causing us to laugh. Before I could run inside he grabbed my arm and leaned in kissing me softly, we parted and I smiled at him as we ran back into the Castle. He walked me back to the Gryffindor commons and left once I went inside, i took his jacket off and noticed George and Annie snogging on the couch. I tried to run to my room but George already saw me "what happened to you" he asked confused at my soaking wet appearance "just got caught in the rain is all" I said with a smile as Annie rolled her eyes at me "sorry for interrupting I'll just go to my room" I said darting for my room hopping this wouldnt be brought up. I closed my door and sighed, I untied my hair letting it fall down my back and I took off my heels. I walked over to my dresser and grabbed a pair of short and a tank top, I tried reaching my zipper but couldnt seem to manage "I got it" I heard George say as he unzipped my dress "thanks...." I said softly waiting to hear my door close and when it did I let my dress fall and pool at my feet slipping on my tank top and shots quickly. George walked in again as I was picking up my dress "did Annie leave?" I asked softly as i placed my dress on a hanger "yeah she did" he replied as he stood by the door "sorry didnt mean to ruin the mood for you" I replied softly "so how was your date with that Hufflepuff guy" he asked as I took a seat on my bed blowing out a puff of air as I had to think "it was nice actually Mason is quite the gentleman and hes very sweet he actually wants to meet tomorrow" I said with a smile as George seemed to force a smile "that's great I hope it goes well" he said before looking around the room avoiding my gaze "is everything alright George" I asked knowing full well what his problem was "nothing at all I'm happy you found that idiot" he said before realizing what he just said as I looked at him with a surprised face "I'm sorry is that coming from the person shagging the whore of Ravenclaw" I shot back as he tightened his jaw "you told me to go to the ball with her" he retorted causing me to roll my eyes at him "oh please you could have asked any of the other girls but you asked her" I said as he walked closer "how is that my fault" he said staring at me as i looked at him astonished "you asked her and second Mason asked me to the ball i accepted what's so bad about that" I said standing up as we stared at eachother. He didnt seem to have an answer "how about next time you man up and ask me first if it's such a problem for me to go with other boys!" I finished before storming out of the room to then realize that I left my own room so I went back in standing by the door "this is my room you leave" I said as I pointed at the door. He took the message and left my room, I closed the door and felt fresh tears threaten to fall honestly who did he think he was to tell me who I should and shouldn't go out with.

A month has passed since the whole incident with George and we where no longer on speaking terms, mostly because I was in a relationship with Mason and he was dating Annie. I walked into the great hall for breakfast and walked over to the Hufflepuff table taking a seat next to Mason as he smiled at me "well hello Beautiful" he said as he kissed my cheek causing me to smile "hey Mason  how has potions been I know you told me you where having troubles with it" I said taking a bite of my toast "still struggling with the measurements and what not" he admitted as he took a sip of his pumpkin juice "well I could help you with that I'm really good at potions" I said causing him to smile at me "I would love that" he said kissing my cheek again "so I will see you in the library tomorrow but for now I have to go for now see you later" I said as I finished the rest of my coffee then kissing his cheek before heading out to go to Muggle studies with Harry and Hermione. As we walked I could feel them staring at me "alright say it what's wrong" I said not looking at them "you seem happy with Mason" said Hermione with a smile causing me to smile "I am" I said as we continued to walk until Harry stopped infront of me "what about George you know since you two haven't been talking it's been hard on the rest of us" Harry said as I sighed "well I'm not the one that need to apologize he does hes the one who started the whole fight" i said irritated "fine but eventually you two need to talk this ou...." he stopped mid sentence looking at something behind me shocked causing me to look and see Annie George's girlfriend's with her tounge down some slytherins throat "I'm not telling him" I said walking away "I will" said Hermione as we made it to class.

We where at dinner and Mason decided to join us at the Gryffindor table he sat across me where George normally sat and i sat next to Fred and Hermione. Suddenly we heard Annie yelling as she stormed over to me angrily "YOU JEALOUS BITCH HOW DARE YOU TELL GEORGE LIES ABOUT ME CHEATING YOU SELFISH WHORE!!" She yelled as she smacked me across the face as I sat there surprised "HEY I TOLD GEORGE BECAUSE HARRY CAMILA AND I SAW YOU SNOGGIN THAT SLYTHERIN THIS MORNING AND IT WASNT FAIR TO HIM!" Yelled Hermione as she was getting ready to smack her I grabbed her hand "dont bother shes not worth it" I said as i looked at the ground "Yeah go ahead and cry get the twins pitty that's all your good at!" Annie spat at me causing me to look at her with a glare as she moved back scared "you think that's why I wasnt looking at you oh honey if you only knew exactly what I could do to you but I'm the bigger person" I said as I felt Fred grab my shoulder leading me out of the great hall. We where in the hall way when i saw George looking at me with a shocked expression "maybe you should be more careful on who you choose to date" I spat before shrugging Fred off and teleporting myself to the black lake. I stood at the pier pacing trying to calm myself, the water from the lake was crashing against the pier due to my frustration I was sure my eyes where glowing blue right now. I couldnt help the scream that I let out in anger "god I just want to punch her in that smug face of hers!" I yelled as I sat down watching the restless water finally begin to calm down.

I got back to the Gryffindor commons where Hermione Harry and Fred awaited me, I noticed George standing in the corner "Camila oh my god you scared me Fred said you teleported away and we had no idea where you would have gone" said Hermione as she hugged me "well it was either teleport away or bring Hogwarts down until it was rubble" I said calmly towards a wall "I'm sorry that she thought you told him" she said as she looked at me apologetically "well I knew that was going to happen though I didnt think she would actually strike me" I said as I sat on the arm of the couch "although it was quite funny how she thought I was crying when I was really trying my best not to level the whole place with my abilities I'm sure my eyes where a golden color" I said turning to Fred and them as Fred smirk "yes because our Camila is abnormally powerful" Fred said mocking me so punch his arm playfully as we laughed. I looked at George who seemed as though he wanted to talk "hey guys we will be back" I said as they all looked between George and I "alright talk it out you two" Fred said as he pushed me off the arm of the couch and Ron shoved George to walk up the stairs behind me.

I was sitting on my bed picking Lint off my comforter, when I felt the bed dip "I'm sorry I snapped at you about Mason he seems like a really great guy I'm happy for you really" he said causing me to look up at him "I'm sorry I was right that your girlfriend was a whore that had to really hurt" i said with a small smile as he laughed "not really i expected it to happen honestly" he said causing me to laugh "next time pick a girl who isnt known for sleeping around and that wont assult me" I said as he laughed again "deal" he said as we hugged well the others must be wondering why we are taking so long we should go" he said as i smirked knowing them very well to know they where at the door, so quietly I went to the door opening it quickly causing them all to fall in "I doubt that" I said as we all laughed.
