Lugging another textbook over to my desk, I collapse in my chair, cracking open another energy drink ready to spend another 24 hours in this chair to study for the upcoming tests. I sigh opening the first page and starting to make notes. I'd been sat here for a couple days already, running off no sleep and only leaving to change, shower or go to class. I rub my face taking a long swig of my drink before it's taken from my hand. I look up and see Issac watching me with an unimpressed look. "How long have you been here?" He asks and I shrug. "Without class? Since Friday." I tell him truthfully and he sits opposite me. "Onyx, its Tuesday! Why are you still here!?" He asks me and I sigh. I close the new textbook, setting my pen on top of it. "Because studying is all I have in my life right now." I say honestly. Issac sighs, moving over and sitting on my lap creating space between me and the desk, running his hands through my hair. "You need to take a break, you're going to burn out. Plus Christmas break is coming up you should be packing." He tells me and I sigh softly. "I'm not going home Z, I'm staying here for Christmas." I admit softly to him, causing him to frown. "Why aren't you going home?" He asks me and I rub his hip softly. "Don't worry your beautiful head okay?" I say kissing his head softly. He sighs kissing my jaw softly as he rests his head on my chest. I wrap my arms around him as I spot Pansy and Charlie walk over to us. "Hey you two." They say sitting opposite us. I smile softly at them.

"Are you guys ready to go home for Christmas?" Pansy asks causing Issac and Charlie to nod, talking about how they couldn't wait to spend their time with families. I run my hand up and down Issac's back softly, drawing patterns across it to soothe us both, something I'd grown accustomed too. "Mom is letting Pansy stay over on Christmas so it's going to be incredible." Charlie says causing Pansy to kiss her cheek softly. I smile watching the both of them interact. "What about you Onyx, what are you doing for Christmas?" Charlie asks and I bite my lip softly. "He's not going home for Christmas." Issac tells them as they frown. "Why not?" Pansy asks me. I smile softly before answering. "Things haven't changed in my house, even after everything with my mother in November. I'm still hated. Plus the rest of my family are going to be there and I'd rather not spend my time with people who despise and want to kill me." I say with a sarcastic smile, causing Issac to kiss my jaw softly. I smile down at her softly. "Why don't you come to our place for Christmas? I'm sure mum and dad wont mind." Issac suggests, causing me to shake my head. "I'll be fine here I promise. Enjoy your time with your family. Make sure those two don't go overboard." I say with a soft smile, rubbing his cheek softly. He laughs but nods understanding my point. "I'll be fine, I promise." I say reassuringly. They nod, still not happy with me staying at Hogwarts. I smile and we sit talking for a couple of hours, ignoring the looks Issac and I got since we didn't have a specific label. Charlie, Pansy and Issac head to their respective classes, leaving me alone to study again.

I pack my stuff after checking the time, realising I should go and eat, before heading to the Great Hall and meeting up with Issac, Charlie and Pansy. "Fancy seeing you lot here." I say jokingly as I sit next to him. He smiles and kisses my cheek softly. "Glad to see you've finally exited the Library Dungeon." Pansy responds sarcastically and I smile at them all. "Hey, can we all go to the mountain after dinner? I want to give you guys something." I ask them nervously, as I sip my drink. They nod and I smile while we eat, having conversations about stupid things that come to our mind, ignoring the looks of other people. We finish eating and we relax for a little while as Harry and Draco walk over to us. "Look who it is." Draco says rolling his eyes seeing Issac and I. I roll my eyes noticing Harry was with him. "What do you two want?" I ask, wrapping my arm around Issac's shoulders. "You better enjoy that while you can, it won't last long, I promise." Draco says with a smirk and I ignore him. I turn back to Charlie and Pansy, ignoring the two boys that came over to us, eventually making them walk away from the table. "What did he mean it won't last long?" Issac asks softly and I shrug. "I don't know, and I don't care. I have you now and that's all I care about." I say with a smile kissing him softly. I pull away and turn back to the others. "Can we head to the Mountain now? Since you guys all leave tomorrow?" I ask them and they nod. I smile and grab Issac and I's bags, interlocking our hands as we walk. Once we arrive, I set our bags down as we sit in a weird circle shape. I smile softly taking a look out at the distance.
