Richie and Will entered the mall, looking around at all of the stores. Will lead Richie over to Scoops Ahoy. He looked inside, seeing Steve attempting to flirt with some girls. Robin was behind him, making fun of him.
"Scoops Ahoy, huh? That's a stupid name," Richie commented.
"Wait until you see their uniforms," Will giggled.
The two boys went inside, while the girls Steve was attempting to flirt with left.
"Wow dingus! Who knew you could sink so low," Robin told Steve, attempting to get a reaction out of him.
"Whatever, your just jealous because I got the girl you wanted," Steve replied calmly.
"Who? Nancy Wheeler? She's dating Byers, remember?" Robin questioned Steve.
"I don't even like her anymore. She was a..." Steve trailed off.
"A what?" Robin asked rudely.
"Nothing," Steve finished their conversation and got back to work. "Oh, hey kid."
"Hey mom," Will said as Richie raised an eyebrow.
"How does that even work?" He asked the two, who just laughed in response.
"Who's this kid?" Steve asked.
"This is Richie," Will said.
"Nice to meet you, Richie. Got a last name?" Steve put his hand out for Richie to shake.
"Tozier," Richie told him.
"Another one? How many kids do you know Steve? This is getting creepy," Robin popped in.
"FOR THE LAST TIME, I HAD TO HELP THEM FIGHT OUT A WEIRD MONSTER THING FROM ANOTHER DIMENSION! YOU WERE EVEN THERE FOR PART OF IT!" Steve yelled at Robin, which earned stares from everyone in the room.
"That was real? I thought it was just a fever dream," Robin said, thinking about it.
"I need to know this story," Richie told Will.
