Yn's POV

"Okay, so what's the deal between you and this Elena girl" I ask my brother as we walked upstairs to Intelligence. "What about her" Ollie asked. "Oh, don't give me that. You make me tell you everything when it comes to my relationships. Spill. Now" I say. "Um, okay. She works as a paralegal at a law firm downtown. I know her brother through deployment. We were on the same IED defusing team a while back" Ollie said. "I like the sound of her already. When do I get to meet her" I ask. "No no no. We've barely been on one date" Ollie said. "What? Are you afraid I'll scare her off" I ask. "That's not what I said" Ollie stated.

"Hey, Ollie. What's up" Jay said and fist bumped my brother. "Nothing much. Just catching up with my little sis" Ollie said and ruffled my hair. "Okay, one, I hate it when you mess up my hair. And two, calling me little sis makes it seem like I'm a little kid, which I'm not" I say. "The nickname will always stick. Oh, before I go, Jay, there's another Ln family dinner coming up this Saturday. You're welcome to come" Ollie said. "I'll check my schedule" Jay said. "Great. I'll talk to you later, Yn" Ollie said and gave me a hug before heading back downstairs.

"Today's rip followed the same MO as our previous two. They blast the doors open, kill everybody inside, grab money and product, and get the hell out of there" Antonio said. "I just ran the prints of the two dead guys. Nothing. No names, no criminal history" Hailey said. "That makes six dead bangers" Jay said. "And Felix Montero. He just turned ten" Hailey added. "We talked to Felix's mom. She says she saw two Latinos, 20, jump into a dark car, but that's all we got" Kim said.

"Somebody had to see them. They didn't just disappear into thin air" Kevin said. "All right, so let's double down on the traffic cams, start canvassing for more witnesses" Voight said. "If you ask me, we should assume this is an inside job. You don't get the address of a stash house in the yellow pages" Al said. "He's right. I mean, these guys aren't just getting lucky. They know where to go and when to go" I say. "You know, it could be someone inside the Latin Hoods. I'll reach out to a buddy in Gangs" Jay said. "Good. Chase that. Everybody else, reach out to your CIs, and put some money on the street" Voight said.

........................................

"I just talked to my guy in Gangs. The stash house that got robbed today belonged to the 16th Street Boys, not the Latin Hoods" Jay said. "So much for the inside job theory" Hailey said. "Yeah, which puts us back to square one" Antonio said. "All right, my CI's got intel on two Hispanic bangers moving product out of a house on 47th and Racine. Cobra label" Adam announced. "Get a warrant" Antonio said. "We don't need a warrant. The house is vacant" Adam said. "Let's hit it then" Antonio said.

At the house, we found a few keys of heroin, and two bangers. "I ran the two offenders; Miguel Soto and Juan Fernandez. They both have priors for possession" I say. "Hey, did you recover any weapons" Voight asked Jay and Hailey. "No, there was no guns. Techs are still on the scene. They're looking for blood and hair. So far, nothing" Jay replied. "Any gunshot residue" Voight asked. "Negative, but it's been a while" Jay said. "The good news is, the heroin we found, it's a match. It's got the cobra insignia" Adam said. "Hailey, get the little boy's mother down here. See if she can make a positive ID. Jay, you and Kim talk to Soto. Adam, you and Kevin take a run at Fernandez" Voight said.

Once both men had been interviewed, we all met up in the bullpen. "So where are we at" Antonio asked. "Both dudes are sticking to the script. They've got nothing to do with the rips and the murders" Jay replied. "Alibi" Antonio asked. "Drinking beer in the abandoned house" Kim responded. "Hey. I just talked with Sarah Montero, Felix's mom. I showed her a photo array of our suspects, but nobody looked familiar. So either she didn't get a good look, or these aren't our guys" Platt said. "My money's on choice B" Hailey said. "Choice B? Why" I ask. "I just checked out the store the guys said they got their beer from. The camera that took this photo of them is timestamped 9:33 a.m. The stash house was hit at 9:36 a.m. It's a 20-minute drive if they hit every green light and no traffic. We've got the wrong guys" Hailey said. "Who the hell gave you the intel" Antonio asked Adam.
