On the way back home Avi was out like a light the second Scott had turned on the engine. He slept through the short stop at the Starbucks drive thru where then baritone got them two blueberry muffins and himself a venti iced coffee since his boyfriend was still asleep and getting him a tea now would result in barely lukewarm flavored leaf water once he would wake up.

"Avi..." he mumbled and reached over to touch the man's cheek once they were in the driveway of their new house. "Hello sleepy boy. You're knackered, hm?"

Avriel yawned, then stretched as much as he could in the car and unbuckled. "Home?"

"Yeah, we're home. I got us blueberry muffins on the way home but I think you need a shower first and your clothes should go right into the laundry. You have Oliver's fur all over your jeans."

Together they made their way inside and Avi stripped in the hallway the second Scott had closed the door. He walked straight to the bathroom and disappeared in the shower.

Scott couldn't help but chuckle. He was happy that Avi had had such a good time with and on the horse and managed to forget about their conversation in the morning. He brought his clothes to the washing machine and then fetched new ones from the closet to set them down next to the sink, while his boyfriend was in the shower. Back in the kitchen Scott ate his muffin before he walked back to the bedroom and got comfortable under the covers, aware that Avi would soon make his way over to him for an afternoon nap.

Just ten minutes later the slim bass made his way over to the bed. He still held out his hands to make sure not to run into anything but it was getting better with every single day. His hair was damp and the unruly curls were stuck under the fabric of his shirt while his face was shiny and most likely freshly moisturized.

"You look like you're squeaky clean." Scott said and chuckled softly. "C'mere. Did you have a good day?" He Held Avi close as soon as he was in bed.

"Perfect day, yes. Not over yet, but I need a break." He felt for Scott's shoulders and then placed his head on his chest. "Thank you."

"You're very welcome, Babe." They shared a sweet kiss before Scott pulled up the duvet and sighed softly. "An hour? And then we'll tackle dinner?"

But Avi was already asleep with his lips slightly parted and his hand curled in a loose fist next to his face, breathing deeply.

Scott couldn't resist and pressed a soft kiss on top of his hair before he closed his eyes as well. He was thankful for Avi.

When Scott woke up again Avi was still asleep on his chest, relaxed and even slightly drooling. The sun has started to set which meant that they both wouldn't be able to sleep if they stayed in bed any longer and so the baritone gently reached up to his cheek and stroked it lightly. He hated to wake Avi.

"Hi" he whispered softly once the bass was stirring. "Time to wake up, it's getting dark outside."

Avi hummed before he sighed, stretched and then raised his head. "What time?" he asked sleepily and yawned.

"Almost seven, we slept for way longer than anticipated."

But Avriel shrugged. "You needed a few extra hours, and me too. Hungry. Dinner? Shall we order something?"

"Are you up for pizza?" Scott asked even though he already knew the answer.

"Always." The bearded man said and smiled lightly. He sat up and then got up to head to the bathroom.

As Scott watched him walk away he thought about everything that had happened over the course of the day. His intrusive thoughts and their argument in the morning, the horse riding and the nap in the afternoon - he made a mental note to get the pictures he had taken of Avi with and on Oliver printed - and what could potentially happen in the evening.

The pizza was ordered before the bass returned to bed and, much to Scott's surprise, got comfortable again.

"Scotty?" he spoke up after a long pause and turned his head to him. Even though Avi couldn't see, he liked to imagine Scott's eyes looking at him.

"Hm? What's on your mind, Av?"

"I- Do you think we-" He stopped with a sigh. "I'm sorry. I'm so bad at this.."

"Hey, relax. It's okay. Take your time."

Avi nodded, sorted his thoughts and then spoke up again. "Do you think we should use the mattress for something else than plain, stupid sleep?"

"Well, we can do some Arts and Crafts in bed?"

"Or...maybe have sex?" Avi asked shyly and pulled the blanket all the way over his nose up to his eyes. He wasn't sure if Scott liked the idea or not as he didn't have the chance to read his body language or watch his reaction.

Scott noticed immediately how uncomfortable his boyfriend got and gently cupped his cheeks. "I would love to have sex, Avi. But only if you are ready."

The bearded man exhaled relieved. "I think I am." He said and felt for Scott, then placed his hand against his upper arm. "Just...be patient? And let me explore. And maybe we can turn off the lights?"

"Would that make you more comfortable?"

"Yes, definitely. It's not that I don't want you to look at me, I'm not ashamed of my body, but-"

"I understand. And I am excited to see the world through my fingertips and other senses and not just my eyes. But first pizza, hm? And then we'll see where the evening leads us."
