Chapter 14
I AM SO SORRY FOR THE TYPOS... So my laptop broke like iit started writing in code so for my birthday I got a kindle with the key pad so I wrote this chapter with it and Im still getting used to it so be gentle please it also doesnt have auto correct which is brutal because Im an awful speller so Im so sorry, also I posted a new story that hasnnt gotten many veiws and I was really proud of it so if you coulld check it out that would be awesome so heres chapter 14 ennjoy....

The plane finally landed into Amsterdam which looked like a lot of grassland. Like a lot. We were waiting for our cab in silence since we were kinda jet laggged and I still havnt slept in like 17 hours. That can definanlty shut someone up for a while. The cab had finally come and my mother told him to take us to the "filosoaf"

which acording to our cab driver is one of the best hotels in amsterdam. Great, good hotels means comfy beds and comfy beds equals much needed were driving when I noticed that the scenery has drasticaly went from grassland to farms and now to a small city. I think the cab driver saw me looking out the window because he said "Amsterdam is like the rings of a tree, the further in you get the older it becomes".

Just as he says this all these houses start going by and to be complelty honest it was exactly how I pictured it would be. Which isnt a bad thing but I was kinda hoping to see soimething I hadnt yet immagined. Don't get me wrong though its beautuful. Like scary beautiful. It was like a magazine cover. I like it. Our cab driver finally stoppped at this fancy looking hotel and my mother payed him while me and Augustus got the bags. We all walked into the huge lobby and let me just say, Amsterdam knows how to hotel. There was all this old furniture and stained glass windows and it was awesome.

Mom checked in with Augustus because he had a separete room so I sat down in a rather lumpy loungge chair. It took precisesly ten minutes to get our room key. Also noted the room keys were real keys, not some swip and go thing but the real deal. Like I said Amsterdam knows how to hotel. We were on the seconnd floor while Augustus was on the third so we said our goodbyes on the elevator and went our separate ways. We got into our room and it was rather small but it had two beds so I wasnt going to complain. Me and mom got settled and we both decided to sleep because here it was about 2 in the afternoon so i'll still bee able to have a late dinner by the time we wake up. I went the bed close to the window and felll alseep thinking about Zeus the owl.

LATER

I woke up to my mom shaking me and telling me to get into the shower. "Any reason why you're forcing me to shower" I ask her and she just casually says " You're going on a Date with gus". Yeah thats soomething to be caual about. Note the sarcasm. "First of all his name is augustus and second of all WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL" I yell the last part because it just felt right and because its kind of weird that my mom knows all about a date I never even knew about.

"Hazel just get into the shower and i'll tell you all aboout it" she says and I huff, only because I know i need a shower. "Fine but you're explaining ALL of this once im out" i say and she agrees. Since its a date I grab this black dress I brought and go into the hilariously small bathroom. I get into the shower and do all my buissness in there and get out only to find the bllack dress gone. I go out into the bedroom and look to see if I grabbed it and its not there.

Just then thee door openns and in walks my mom holding a gift bag and the black dress. "Mom?" i ask and she turns to me and smiles. "I had to go into Augusutu's room to grab this" she says holding the gift bag. "He got me a gift?" I ask. "No but i had it with him so you wouldnt see it in our bag" she says and then adds "Happy Amsterdam". "Thanks I guess" I say and take the blue bag in one hand while still holding my towel with the other hand. I set it on the bed and remove the tissue paper only to see the best gift i've ever seen.

The "to expensive blue dress" sits inside the bag neatly folded. I run to my mom, which wasnt that far considering the room was about the size of my real room. "THANK YOU" I yell and she laughs at me. It wasnt to expensive but I needed to suprise you with something" she says and I laugh. Thats why she was doing her running around whisltt i was drowing my sorrows in AIA. "Now go on put it on and do your hair before Augustus gets here" she says and I nod.

I go into the bathroom and change into the dress which still looks, and feels, amazing. After that I got my hair to lay in such a way that made me look like mid 2000's natalie portman. I didnt put an make up on because I didnt feel thhe need to. I got out of the bathroom and put on my black vans , because I liked being shorted than him, and waited for someone to come knocking on the door.

Then after an eturnity feeling moment, I heard someone knocking on the door. I answerd it and found an ever smirkinng Augustus Waters, smoking an unlit cigarrette.
