"We're here," Spencer nudged Morgan's shoulder. Morgan groaned and swatted blindly at whatever was touching him.
"Wait I got this," Derek heard someone mutter. All Morgan wanted was to sleep so could they just leave him be? "Spencer's ugly," his eyes snapped open unwillingly, blinking multiple times, and recognizing Emily's face.
"Shut up and run," Derek rolled his eyes. She laughed before standing up.
"Told you," she looked over at Reid who was a blushing mess. Morgan sighed and stood up from his seat.
"What time is it?" Derek asked.
"Almost 3," Reid answered as they stepped out of the plane. Morgan nodded in response and got into the SUVs to get back to headquarters.
"Let's get you home, Reid," Derek yawned, his eyes barely staying open.
"Do you want to stay over? You look really tired. Did you know that 20% of all fatal car accidents occur when the driver is drowsy? A total of 35,092 people died last year because of these accidents," he produced the information as if he were reading it off somewhere.
"Yeah, I'd rather not be added to that number," Morgan agreed, just wanting to sleep somewhere quickly.
"Okay," Morgan saw the small smile spread on Spencer's lips and it instantly made him smile. They arrived at his apartment rather quickly. Derek dragged his feet up to the elevator and into Spencer's apartment where he instantly crashed onto the couch.
"You're not going to fit there, Derek. You'll be uncomfortable," Spencer chided. "I'm sorry, I only have one bed. Erm, you can sleep there and I'll sleep on the couch," he offered.
"No, I'm good. It's okay--" Morgan yawned, "your place, I'll sleep here," he snuggled into the pillow.
"Share?" he murmured. Derek opened an eye to look at Spencer standing awkwardly but cutely.
"You sure, baby?" he nodded and Derek stood up. Spencer led them to this room and Derek kicked his boots off, throwing his shirt off too. He normally would've taken his pants off but he didn't want to make Reid too uncomfortable. Derek didn't pay attention to him as he closed his eyes and grabbed the pillow to snuggle his head in. A few minutes later, Spencer cleared his throat.
"Uh, Derek? Don't laugh please but um--" Derek looked up at and saw Reid was holding something in his hand. He squinted to make out what it was.
"You're putting on a night light because you're afraid of the dark?" Morgan perked a brow and Spencer nodded sheepishly.
"Does it bother you?" he asked quietly. Morgan internally cooed at him.
"No, but you don't have to be afraid. I'm here with you," he reminded him. Spencer smiled and looked down at the night light in his hands. He placed it on his dresser and shut off the lights. In two quick steps, he pounced into bed and immediately pulled the blankets over his legs. Derek chuckled softly.
"Would you--" he didn't get to finish when the broader one pulled him into his arms.
"You're adorable, baby. You know that?" Derek murmured into Spencer's hair as he pressed his head into the crook of his neck. Morgan felt Spencer shake his head softly. "Well, you are. Now let's get some much-needed sleep," he pulled back a little and kissed the warm skin of his forehead.
"Thank you," Spencer whispered into Derek's neck, pressing a soft kiss on it.
"Anytime, sweetheart," he replied before he closed his eyes and drifted off into sleep.
