Song: Stitches by Shawn Mendes

Nathan
I call to my mum as words start to appear on my arm. All of the messages so far have appeared on my left side, so I am assuming that Micah is right handed. I grab a pen off of my desk and write my name on my left wrist.
"Nathan, what does it say?"
"Micah said the surgery will be soon."
Mum ushers me into bed, and carefully roles my shirt up. Don't want to get any blood on it. I don't know how long I lie like that but I must fall asleep because the next thing I know...

Micah
My eyes slowly open. The room is bright, I can hear machines beeping. I think the surgery is over. I try to look down at my stomach but I can't move. I can barely lift my arm to see the name written on my left wrist: Nathan. So, my soulmate's name is Nathan. I am thinking if I have ever met a Nathan before when something dawns on me. My soulmate is a boy. But, I'm straight. I am trying to process this information when I notice the nurse standing over me. What was her name again? Oh, right, Hannah. She is tapping at the screen above my head. I don't think she knows I'm awake. I try to speak but my throat is too sore.

Nathan
"Mum," I can barely speak, I am so dehydrated. My mum pushes a glass of water against my lips.
"Drink." I do as she says and take a sip of the water. I sit up and look down at my stomach. Six little cuts are spread over it. They already look like they are sealing up.

I hope Micah's ok. It's a weird thought to have. I don't even know who this person is and yet I already care so much about them.

I hope he is ok.
