Sorry it's been like a week since my last post, things just kept popping up.

Anyways, it's still the usual language but not much sexual content, just maybe some tension.

Kai's POV

Something about Evie was bringing out the beast in me. I had let it slumber for so long I thought maybe I had lost touch with it, having been so wrapped up in work that I hadn't bothered with extra curricular activities.

But the look in her green eyes as she sucked me, the sweet sound of her purring like a kitten, all of it was bringing me back to my old self. And I loved it. Her stamina was something to work on so she could keep up with me, but that's what makes it so fun, seeing her eyes go wide every time I get hard again and take her.

Even though she wasn't a virgin when I met her, her past boyfriends did wrong by her, denying her such pleasures. Their loss was my gain.

As I got dressed in the early hours this morning, before the sun was up, being quiet so as not to disturb her, my phone started vibrating from a text message.

The two newest ones read

"Get over here now."
"Damn you, you answer me when I'm calling you!"

It was my boss. Just fucking great. I managed to miss over twenty calls and almost as many texts while I was busy with Evie.

I finished getting ready, sneaking around to her side of the bed and giving her a soft peck on her cheek while she slept. And as I was leaving her apartment, using the key I made to lock up, I picked up the phone as he was trying to call me again impatiently.

Evie's POV

Thank fuck I was off today. There's no way in hell I was going to be able to walk around for twelve hours without limping.

Kai's stamina was inhuman. We went five more times, him making me come another seven or eight, I can't remember, I lost track after the fourth one, my legs permanently feel like jello.

He finally left me alone to sleep but it was already so late at night, both of us colliding on the bed side by side, gasping for air.

Before I knew it, my lids fluttered shut, unable to keep them open any longer. I felt Kai dig his arm under me so he could roll me into his side, laying my head peacefully on his chest.

Since it was so late when we finally went to sleep, I thought I'd get to wake up with him but when I looked, he was gone again.

His absence struck me in a bad way. I hated this feeling, like I was being used, and I thought I should already be used to that sort of thing. I cried silently into my pillow and let myself drift back into an uneasy sleep.

When I finally got up it was just after nine. The only thing I had planned today was to go to the bank and close out my savings. Something I had been dreading since just a few short days ago. But I didn't have much of a choice. Kai wasn't going to wait forever to get that stupid money back.

I cursed Cam too. Wherever he was, I hope he was having a terrible life. I wished karma would do it's thing and smite him.

I made it to the bank right as they opened, patiently waited for my turn to speak to a cashier and ten minutes later, I walked out with six hundred twenty-three dollars in mixed bills. This was going to hurt but I tried to remember our agreement; for every dollar I pay, Kai promised to match plus more.
