Finn was staring at us in disbelief, and Lily arched her brows when she saw his reaction. Evan shook his head, Casper shrugged, and I remained focused on the parchment of scrolls on my table.

I glanced at the other items on the table. I didn't know that we'd be using this cover again.  Sometimes, Finn's uniqueness could be useful.

"A-Are we sure about this?" he asked.

Evan smirked. "This is your initial idea, brother. We don't have an official invitation to the celebration. We need an effective cover. We can't steal anyone's identity, that would give conflict."

"Hindi ba't sanay ka nang maging salamangkero. You look conflicted. Nakalimutan mo na kung paano?" tanong ni Lily.

"Wow! Why do I have this feeling na ang iinit ng dugo n'yo sa akin? Even Dastan!"

Si Casper ang siyang gumawa ng paraan para magkaroon kami ng maliit na tutuluyan sa isang bayan malapit sa palasyo ng pitong trono. He introduced ourselves as traveler performers.

I remained seated on the edge of the old table while looking at them. Lily was busy with her dress, Evan was holding a book while Casper was reading the daily newspaper of the empire. And of course, Finn, he's not just a distraction to enemies even for us. 

I massaged my temple.

"Can you suggest another way, Finn?" I asked.

He tried to open his mouth, but for a second, he chose to close it again. Naupo na rin siya sa isa sa libreng upuan at nangalumbaba gamit ang kanang kamay niya.

"Ako lang dapat ang salamangkero. Bakit nagayahan na kayo?"

Lily laughed. "Don't worry. You're the original."

Si Finn ang siyang unang sinukatan ni Lily ng kanyang kasuotan, habang abala kami nina Evan at Casper sa aming basahin. Ibinigay nila sa akin ang impormasyon tungkol sa kasalukuyang mga nakaupo sa trono.

Andronicus Clamberge III is the known great ruler and most powerful vampire during this era. He's cold, strict, and cruel. Lower vampires feared him the most, and even other creatures are afraid of his rage.

I tapped my forefinger on the table. The details about King Clamberge in this era had the same image in our time for common vampires and other creatures, but for us, royalties and other creatures with positions who were aware of the scandal happened in the seven high thrones. He's could even be treated as filthy trash.

Halos manginig ang mga kamay ko habang hawak ang kanyang detalye. How ironic that the history books of vampire had his good name, but behind the minds of thousands of us... he's a tainted vampire who ruined the whole Nemetio Spiran.
