I know a lot of you were disappointed to see this book come down. I was, too. This book means a lot to me and has a special place in my heart, so I couldn't bring myself to delete it from my page. I'm glad I didn't, because I have edited and revised this book for your viewing pleasure.
For anyone who is wondering why I decided to edit it after years of it being up, the answer is quite simple: It had to be. Why Her? was very toxic between the two protagonists, it romanticized self-harm and depression. It wasn't good for impressionable viewers, and since the book was doing so well and tended to top charts, I didn't think it was safe to keep up, so I took it down.
However, this was the book that jumpstarted my following on Wattpad. People who read this book came back for more, and I was able to grow as an author. I didn't want to take it down, but I couldn't keep it up either. So, I decided the best thing to do would be to rework the book and take out those toxic inexcuses and replace it with a more realistic and healthy approach.
For anyone who's worried the charm of the book will be gone by taking out those aspects, don't worry. The heart of the story is just the same, and I truly believe you will enjoy this version far better than the original.
