Ethan was nervous as it was the day of the big fashion show, and it was his time to show the world what he was capable of. Dozens of new lines of clothes were being showcased in front of numerous media outlets, tough rival competitors, and his own judgemental colleagues.

Ethan had put his time into his work as he wanted to show everyone that he belonged in the COO position. Ethan wanted to memorise all those faces who doubted his ability to work as a professional - especially Lewis Rumster.

But his dreams of theoretically crushing his nemesis was threatened to be ruined when Ethan received an anonymous note last night.

It was waiting for him when he made his way back home after a pleasant night drinking with Thomas. The note was posted through his letter box, warning Ethan that somebody was going to end the feud they had - and not in a civil way either.

Ethan initially wanted to bury his head in the sand. He was ready to throw it over his shoulders and not look back - with no need to dwell on it. But there was a nagging feeling inside of him that made the COO want to get help.

Thomas was taken aside from the busy floor as people were setting up for the runway show. They managed to find a quiet space near the corner as the noise of all the technicians, waiters, and Kristen, were too loud for them to be overheard.

"You got this threat last night?" Thomas whispered in a hushed tone. He was holding the note in his hand as he continued to scan it over and over again.

Ethan nodded his head as he was now regretting how long it took for him to come out with the note. "I'm sorry."

"What for?" Thomas' tone of voice was light and gentle, as he didn't know why Ethan was apologising.

"Because I waited too long?" Ethan asked himself. "I probably should have just cancelled the whole event today. Instead, I'm being stupid again and jeprodisring my life because I'm an idiot."

Thomas grabbed Ethan by the shoulders and tried to reassure him that he did the right thing. "I'm just glad you came forward and told me this. It shows real progress that you're starting to take things seriously, and I'm starting to doubt if you're really Ethan to be honest."

Ethan snickered as he felt Thomas punch him in the arm. He then looked up at the bodyguard and asked what they should do next. "It's too late to cancel everything now, the backlash will be too much for us."

Thomas had to plan for some sort of solution that bridged both worlds. "We can tighten up security around the entrances, and I'll be by your side throughout - just in case."

Ethan was feeling a lot more safer by letting Thomas know everything about the new threat. The bodyguard was pulling in precautions to protect him and the model show, and Ethan knew he could trust him.

The event was in full swing as the room began to fill up with people attending the show. Security was beefed up at every door as no one even seemed to notice since the area around them was so busy.

There was constant flashing lights as pictures were being taken by professionals with their high tech cameras. Dozens of people were mingling as they gathered in groups to discuss the upcoming runway show. Servers were circling the area as they handed out canapés and champagne.

Ethan was going over his cue cards that he pulled out from his most expensive suit. Since he was in charge for tonight's showcase, he was the one that was responsible with nailing the delivery of everything that was happening tonight.
