Ethan was in a frantic mood to leave the house as soon as possible. Despite waking up with a painful headache, Ethan remembered everything that happened last night.

Ethan was terrified that he messed everything up by acting on his impulses. Kissing Thomas was a mistake that Ethan regretted, because his drunk actions were spurred on by his inner emotions. Kissing Thomas twice made Ethan feel embarrassed from coming onto Thomas too strongly, especially since he never saw Thomas share the same feelings.

Going to the office during the day was the best thing Ethan thought he could do to avoid Thomas. It may be Sunday, but Ethan decided that working on a weekend was better than staying in the house - with the same man he had growing feelings for.

Ethan gently closed his bedroom door as he didn't want to wake up Thomas. He deliberately sneaked past Thomas' bedroom so that he wouldn't wake him up.

Remembering his keys on the living room table, Ethan's heart stopped when he realised Thomas was asleep in the living room.

Ethan had no idea why Thomas was asleep downstairs rather than upstairs, but Ethan didn't care as all he wanted to do was to get far away from Thomas.

Ethan was treading carefully as he tiptoed towards the table. Picking up his keys, the rattling noises seemed to stir Thomas, and the bodyguard soon woke up with Ethan's face looking back at him terrified.

"Hey." A startled Ethan nervously whispered. "What are you doing down here?"

Thomas saw that Ethan was gesturing towards sleeping in the living room. He then went on to explain, "I rested my eyes for too long I guess."

Thomas began to sit up on the couch, and Ethan instantly backed away from Thomas as if he was a pit of lava. Thomas looked back at Ethan funnily as he could hear him laugh nervously.

"I'm late for work Tommy, so I'll see you later." Ethan rushed as he felt like he was ready to run through the door.

Thomas was rubbing his eyes as he was still tired from being disrupted from his sleep. "On a Sunday?"

"Business stuff." Ethan shrugged his shoulders as he tried to play it cool, despite his legs being jelly right now. "Bye Tommy."

As Ethan walked around the couch, Thomas reached for his arm and anchored Ethan to the spot. "We should talk about-"

"Nope!" Ethan was trying to shake Thomas' grip away from his arm, but the bodyguard was a lot more stronger. "You're wrinkling my suit, jackass."

Thomas didn't want to play any games as he was constantly thinking about how he was going confront Ethan. Thomas chose to go straight to the point when he mentioned, "We kissed last night... You kissed me, Ethan."

Ethan was finally able to free himself from Thomas as he put a few footsteps between them. "I was just drunk, Tommy. I must have hallucinated that you were the woman from last night or something. And if you didn't know, we were pretty much going to have sex if you didn't spoil the mood."

Thomas was able to easily read how Ethan was deflecting all the responsibility from his own actions last night. He knew Ethan was lying because he could hear it in his voice, and the fact that he was avoiding eye contact spoke volume.

Thomas was looking right into Ethan's eyes as he pressed for an answer. "You perfectly knew that it was me you were kissing, didn't you?"

Ethan opened his mouth to speak, but he was quickly silenced as Ethan sealed his lips shut straight afterwards. He didn't have any words he could use to reply to Thomas, which would let them both come to the same conclusion that the kiss meant nothing between them.
