It was Friday night and Ethan was taking Julia to his 'first date restaurant'. The restaurant was nice enough to leave a good impression on a person, but not too much that it looked like Ethan was flaunting everything he had.

Ethan made sure that there was enough time for him to make it to the restaurant early, so now he was just deciding on his outfit. The restaurant had a dress code for smart wear, this meant that Ethan was wearing a white shirt with grey pants.

Ethan was looking into the mirror in his bedroom as he was stuck on a decision. He put on his matching jacket as he began to debate on which tie to wear. The COO got a lot of compliments whenever he wore a tie with his formal gear, so Ethan reached out for one to perfect his look.

'I guess this will do...'

Ethan felt like he practically looked the same in each date he went to. There was no magic spark in his look, because Ethan didn't share the same energy.

With each date, Ethan didn't feel any excitement bubbling inside of him. There were no nervous butterflies that were making Ethan tingle on the inside. Ethan just wasn't enthusiastic about the blind date, he just felt robotic as if this date was a chore - the opposite of what Ethan desired.

Sighing with disappointment, Ethan ripped the tie around his neck away as he felt like it wasn't going to change anything. Ethan felt like the date with Julia was going to be the same like all the others - making him yearn for something more passionate and exciting.

Ethan recognised Julia as he saw her walk inside the building in a elegant yellow sundress. Her height was elevated in an open toed brown heel, and Ethan thought that she looked pretty stunning.

"Hi." Ethan got up from his seat and greeted Julia with a kiss on the cheek. He then moved around the table so that he could pull out the chair for her. "Take a seat."

Julia was left impressed by Ethan's old fashioned chivalry. "Thanks."

"You look beautiful." Ethan said honestly as he then witnessed a tinted blush on Julia's face. "Should we get a drink?"

"This place is a bit too extravagant for me," Julia nervously laughed. "But if you're paying then lets do this!"

There was a little twitch inside of Ethan that made him panic that he was just a free meal. Ethan wasn't sure if he was mentally overreacting to this slightly, so he pushed that thought down and blamed it on the old fashioned custom instead of Julia.

Ethan reminded himself of Thomas' words, 'See the best in people...'

A waiter showed up at the table as Ethan ordered the wine for them. The waiter was coming back with drinks soon, so the both of them were looking at the menu as they waited.

"The sirloin is really delicious here." Ethan recommended as he ordered it a lot when he was at this restaurant.

"I'm a vegetarian," Julia told Ethan. "But don't let that stop you! I'm probably going for the goat cheese tart."

Ethan chuckled slightly out of relief. "So you're one of those easy going vegetarians then?"

"I'm also into baking, so I like to think that makes me laidback too." Julia giggled.

Both of them placed their order with the waiter as Ethan poured them both a glass of wine the waiter just brought over. They both clinked their glasses together as they drank their wine along with the soothing ambience.

"Fill it to the top." Julia said as she stared at the glass filling up.

"You nervous?"

Julia began to fan herself with her hands as she told the truth. "Yep. Are you?"
