Ethan checked the oven to see how his slow cooker beef stew was looking. Satisfied with how everything was looking, Ethan closed the oven door as he made sure the dining room was perfect.

The lights were dimmed down in the entire house, so that Ethan could light a few candles to set the atmosphere. All the curtains were closed so that they could have some privacy, and Ethan stood by the staircase as he waited for Thomas to come through those doors.

Ethan thought that he had a perfect plan when he told everyone he was out of town for a few days.

The dedicated COO didn't want to fall behind with his work, so Ethan took a bunch of files and reports home to keep up. All of this meant that he wasn't technically slacking with his job, and so Ethan could be happy and spend the next couple of days focussed on only Thomas.

Time went by and Ethan still wasn't reunited with Thomas yet. So Ethan spent those extra few minutes fixing his looks in the mirror, and debating whether he should close more buttons on his dress shirt or not.

With some jeans that went well with his shirt, Ethan made sure his chest was flaunted as he then sat on the staircase - waiting for Thomas.

A knock on the door soon jolted Ethan awake with excitement. He fixed his composure so that he could calm his nervous heart, and he tried contain all of this ecstatic energy when he opened the door.

Thomas was wearing his own suit, whilst sporting a genuine smile on his face when he saw Ethan. Neither of them had seen each other in person for over 3 weeks now, and Thomas couldn't shake the giddy feeling of seeing his boyfriend in front of him.

"Hi. My name is Thomas Miller, and I'm the bodyguard that was hired to protect a Mr Ethan Shelton for the next couple of days." Thomas snickered.

Ethan faked ignorance as he pretended like he didn't know why Thomas flew all the way out here. "That name doesn't ring a bell. Maybe you should describe how hot he is, and I'll let you in to see if I can help you out."

Thomas nodded his head knowingly, as he then stepped forward after every sentence he said. "I believe this man is super cute. I think this man is very funny. And I know he is so damn sexy..."

Thomas squared his chest against Ethan's as they gazed into each other's eyes. Thomas had barely shut the door behind him when Ethan pounced on him. Forcing his arms around Thomas' neck, Ethan kissed him for the first time in 3 weeks.

Ethan felt a tight hold around his waist when Thomas wrapped himself around him. Thomas was holding onto Ethan for dear life, because he was doing everything to recreate the magic whenever they kissed.

Time was lost as the lovers continued to embrace each other passionately. They only separated because Thomas needed to catch his breath, and Ethan was worried that his own erratic heartbeat would lead to a cardiac arrest.

Ethan pressed his forehead against Thomas' as he whispered against Thomas' lips. "I've missed you."

Thomas brushed his thumb against Ethan as he then shared the same sentiment. "I've been thinking about this moment for so many weeks."

Ethan felt his own hand pulled into Thomas' when he felt the other man kiss his forehead. Ethan wanted to stay like this for as long as they could, because he felt completed when he stood besides Thomas.

Thomas cleared his throat when he realised Ethan wasn't letting go of him. "I left my suitcase outside..."

Ethan nervously chuckled as he then briefly let Thomas go. After Thomas brought his suitcase in and left it by the door, Ethan just smiled as he saw the same cheerful expression on Thomas.
