Author's Note: This extended chapter may have been better if it was split into 2, but the reason I put it together is in the other author's note at the end.

Sorry for the lateness again. Hope you all enjoy where this chapter was probably going to...

Ethan had his best night's sleep in 2 weeks. Ethan felt so comfortable and cosy when he turned around felt Thomas was still pressed against him.

Ethan savoured this moment like every other time they slept besides each other. It was the peaceful look on Thomas' face when he slept, it was the way his golden skin glistened in the sunlight, it was the way Thomas' body naturally cling onto his own - everything was too beautiful in Ethan's eyes.

The sound of someone's phone going off drifted Ethan's attention towards it. He looked towards the floor and realised that it was his phone ringing in his pocket.

Ethan reached into the pockets of his clothes to answer the phone call. He didn't even think about it twice when he answered it, as he then brought it to his ears.

"Hello?"

Javier's voice was loud and accusatory as he asked, "Ethan!? Where the hell are you!?"

Ethan looked towards Thomas' body besides him, and suddenly remembered that nobody else knew he was with Thomas. "I'm with Krist-"

Javier didn't care for what Ethan was about to tell him, because Javier felt like he knew his son. "Are you with Thomas right now?"

Ethan was nervous when he lied, "No-"

"Ethan, this is extremely important..." Javier told Ethan very clearly. "Is Thomas with you?"

"Yes," Ethan finally confessed. "I flew over-"

Javier was making interrupting noises because he had to get his information out. "Tell Thomas to answer his phone!"

After Javier hung up the phone call, Ethan took it seriously because it was so out of the blue. Ethan began to gently shake Thomas until the bodyguard finally stirred awake.

"I thought you of all people know how important beauty sleep is?" A tired Thomas joked.

Ethan's face was nervous as he had a serious expression on his face. "I just got the weirdest phone call from my dad. He basically told me that it's urgent for you to answer your phone."

Thomas was equally confused as he looked back at Ethan. None the less, Thomas quickly left the bedroom to grab his phone from the living room.

Ethan thought that it was taking way too long for Thomas to come back to the bedroom. Ethan was curious as he then chose to follow Thomas, where he eventually found the other man in the living room.

Thomas' back was facing him whilst he had his phone pressed to his ear. Ethan sat on the armrest of the couch as he patiently waited for Thomas, but his heart soon dropped when Thomas finally turned back towards him.

Thomas' eyes were glistening with tears as he looked back at Ethan terrified. "I need to go to the hospital."

Ethan immediately stood up from his spot when he asked, "What's wrong?"

Thomas was frozen on the spot as tears began to fall down his face. Ethan was so scared as he soon stood in front of Thomas, and held his arms gently. "Thomas? Talk to me, what's wrong?"

"My dad had a heart attack."

Ethan drove Thomas to the hospital because it was too unsafe for the bodyguard to drive himself. Thomas was a quiet and stoic mess, as his body was trembling ever so slightly.
