18.What's going on behind the scenes?

Madison's P.O.V

"You sure you don't want to tell Mr goody-goody Basketball player?"Niall asks me referring to Aiden as he shuts the window of our private jet.We were returning to NY from LA,where I was for the treatment after undergoing coma.

"No and we weren't really doing anything Niall,"I tell him,sipping my wine.

"Well if I was in his place I'd want to know"

"Please since when did you being feeling empathetic towards him?"I ask my interest building.

"I care about you,I couldn't give a damn less about him.At a point you'll feel guilty,"he says looking at me straight in the eye.I'm about to answer when the captain announces was landing.The entire summer was nothing that I imagined. I was in another world,lost between the living and the dead with a chance on both worlds,but a chance quite slim at living.The recovery and treatment process has been beneficial and grateful and so here I am getting out of the plane with Niall behind me. My parents thought it would be best if I stayed at the apartment and I wouldn't disagree,the place we is heavenly but lonely,so I have Niall to keep me company for a bit.

Just as the sun hits my eyes a hear a group of people scream 'surprise,welcome back' and then I spot my friends,all of them outside on the ground.I can't believe they actually did this for me.We had planned to meet later but all of them can here,skipping class to greet me.

"Shit,thanks guys,"I say as I run down the stairs taking them all in.It's been way to long.The first person I spot is Izzie so I run towards her. "Hi Izzie,"I hug her with so much force I'm surprised we didn't fall on the ground.

"I missed you,"she hugs me back tighly. "Though there;s someone else who misses you more,"she say turning her head and then I spot him,my boyfriend. I've been waiting so long to meet him and fly back here.

"Hey Aiden.I'm sorry...,"I say as I walk towards him emotional.

"It's not your fault,"he says cutting the distance as he puts his arms around me resting my head on his chest as I breath in his cologne. And you're here now,safe,"he says kissing my forehead as I smile.He's such a sweet guy and there I go worrying him.I have no clue how he survived this long I would have died with the fact.

"Didn't miss us now did you,"Josh smirks as I chuckle.

"I've missed all of us guys.Group hug,"I say as we all huddle up together embracing for a moment too long.

"Niall,"Josh says as I wonder what they all will think about it.

"Sup New Yorkers,"he flashes that ridiculous smile of his.

"He's here coz my parents what to make sure I'm fine,"I explain them all as they nod.

"You know we can still make it back right,"Cass says as I smile.

"Don't worry you'll get to meet your boyfriend,"I joke and am received by a dead silence as everyone looks at me.

"Um,they kind of broke-up,"Izzie say as I stare at them all shocked. Why didn't anyone tell me.Damn it,now was those time you just had to keep your mouth shut.

"I'm so sorry..,"I say to Cass as she chuckles.

"It's fine and a damn long story but he's working his ass off trying to get back with me so enjoy the show,"she says as Josh and Izzie chuckle along with Aiden.

"You think he'll let us enter late?"Beckett asks walking beside me and Aiden the other side.

"All you got to do it but C in the front and I think you'll get a red carpet entry,"Melody jokes as Cass laughs along.

"Maybe even Miss Meyers,"Josh laughs as Izzie just shakes her head at him.Now this is the group I missed,the one where very one joked about each other,laughed at crazy and dumb things and lived their live with friends and family and care,love and joy.

"Mad I'll take care of the luggage,you can head out,"Niall tells me as I smile at him.

"Thanks,"I hug him as he walks away with the rest of us doing to the cars.They tell me how the summer has been for them and then what they did your Labour day and I'm honored they have a great time in my memory.The way they talk about it makes we feel I was right there with them enjoying flirting and fishing and everything else.

We all walk towards out Comparative Literature class and I've never been to this class;it's a new one. The sound of Tyler teaching can be heard. "...so we call- ,"he says but is interrupted by Cass.

"Sup Prof,"Cass says strolling in without any care in the world.

"Miss Evan...Miss Meyers,"he exclaims as I see him but am hidden in between the guys. "And the rest,"he says as he eyes the guys.

"You sure you don't know us Prof?"Josh chuckles as we strolls in.

"The late guy,I'm assuming,"Tyler smirks back at him and then his eyes fall on me. "Miss Gray it's been long.Welcome back and feel at home,"he smiles as we all walk to our seats.I notice a new girl sitting beside Cass and Izzie told me Melody dropped Cass but I have no clue who she is.She notices me looking at her as I smile,waving.She smiles back and then go back to listening to Tyler.

"Who's the new girl?"I ask Beckett.

"She's Leilani,she's pretty chill,"he says as I take in her appearance.It's obvious she's chewing gum,and shave on one side.Must be one of those rebellious kinds but her style is pretty good.I love the boot heels she's wearing,she's got my respect.

"Miss Evan I've still have not got my answer,"Tyler says almost at the end of class.

"What do you want me to say Prof?"she smirks as he twirls her strand in her hand seductively.I have totally missed out on a lot.I mean Cyler breaking up I never expected that.

"Probably yes?"he says as she chuckles.

"No,"she says as his face falls.

"No?"he asks her as she smiles.

"No no,"she says smirking as Josh chuckles.

"So it's a no,"he says dismay.

"No you idiot,It's a yes,"she chuckles as he runs his hand down his face then ends up chuckling with Josh clapping.Is it them getting together,I wonder.

"Alright,"Tyler says jubilant. "Miss Evan has agreed to receive mental health care so now I'd love you'll all to get out of my faces before I think of taking you'll up on another two hour next class,"he says as everyone dashes out the door.

"Hey,the only one who lost their mind id you,"Cass says but by then almost everyone as gone out.

"If it mean I can still have you,I don't mind being mental coz you're my cure,"he says as he hugs her.The embrace itself is so sweet.

"Well I don't think I can do another moment with this,"Cass says as her lips crash onto his,their kiss heating heated by the second.

"And I thought they'd need me,"Josh chuckles with Izzie smacking his arm playfully.

"We'll close the door on our way out,"I chuckle as we walk towards it.Cass gives a thumbs up as we all laugh walking out.Izzie and Josh go there way while I pick up with Beckett from where we left.After that my driver comes picking me up as I drive home.Don't even ask about the driver thing,it's all my parent's doing.Saying it's not so safe for me and I should take it slow and just so you know I took Business as my minor and am still doing computers as my major.I never wanted to do business but then I know that's what my parent's want and they are letting me do what I desire as well so the compromise.Life is full of compromise and I know my parents mean well and love me as I decide to trust them.
