15.There's always an aftermath

Isabella's P.O.V

I wake up in the morning to a kiss on my forehead,Josh my heart screams.I was too tired yesterday to wait up for him.

"Morning,"I say as I find his face without opening my eyes.I push my lips to his cheek as he chuckles.

"Just get up already.You're going to be late,"he says as I shake my head.I wanted to sleep for more longer and my eyes still needed so more time.

"Josh let me down,"I shriek as he lifts me up in his arms,walking me towards the bathroom.The more I bang my hand on his chest the more he'd chuckle. Cass was already up meaning she already vomited.The good part abut Josh knowing was that I didn't have to lie to him because Cass was going to have her regular check-ups for the baby or as she says sugar cube.If you ask me before I'd say it was ridiculous, but the way Cass says it with some much love is adorable. Cass was fine with most of the things but the part she hated was the restricted diet.Coffee was out of the picture and then there was extra sleep hours.I volunteered to help her if she needed any help in her studies,assignments,notes or anything else.

"Morning,"Cass chuckles at me in Josh's arm.

"Can you let me down now?"I asked him as he smiles nodding,laying me down on my feet.

"Morning Cassy,"Josh smiles at her like it were everyday.We later all head out to our classes. Cass still doesn't want to talk to the counselors about it.As she says,until she has felt the true form of her pregnancy.

Later in comparative literature class,Cass is busy on her phone,same for Leilani.Josh and I bust talking as Tyler enters the class.Everyone gasps at the sight of him.His face is bruised with blue marks.

"What the hell?"Cass say as I look at Josh's hand and sure enough figure it out.

"Josh what did you do?"I ask him my eyes not leaving his face.

"Nothing much.He deserved worse,"he shrugs playing with his pen as I blink my eyes at him.I hadn't expected Josh to be doing this when he left,especially not punching his own cousin.What happened,I wonder as my eyes roam his body.He didn't have any marks,what-so-ever.My eyes meet his as he chuckles. "Babe,he wouldn't be able to throw a punch at me even if he tried,"he says rubbing his thumb on my chin as he holds it.What is he talking about is he crazy.Tyler is so many years older than him,his physical capability is more than Josh thinks.My thoughts go back to the main thing,he punched his cousin.They are really close I never believed such a thing was possible.I mean playfully yes but not this way.They have a strong bond.Of all things I had expected Josh to side with Tyler but this,completely unbelievable.He defended Cass.

"Holy Lord,"Leilani says as I'm knocked back to the present world.Everyone's eyes on Tyler as the try and figure out what happened including Cass.

"what happened to him?He looks horrible,"Cass asks Josh gripping his arm with concern.She still did love him even though she hated him.

"From the looks of it he got bashed up,"Josh tells her as she continues looking at Tyler.

"What did he do?"she says in a whisper and I already know what's going through Josh's head as he looks at he caring,he hurt you.

The bond Josh shared with people was unbelievable;he manged to care,love and look out for everyone he knew and I knew that well.He cares for Cass,looks out for Mace,buddies with Ty and loves me.He truly has a big heart to be devoted to so many people.

The class ends early and we all talk for a bit.I'm exiting with Josh as Cass is busy talking to a guy in one of her other classes.I notice Josh stare and follow it,Leilani approaching Tyler.

"Prof what happened?"

"Nothing much,"he says his eyes on Cass as she talks with the guy.

"Well isn't nothing much.It will probably hurt,"she say as she puts her hand on Ty's face but he doesn't realize it with looking at Cass,all his attention on her.Well that's what he should have been doing before.Cass' eyes meets his and she is shocked but maintains it.Tyler realizes what she looked at and keeps Leilani's hand down slowly and politely.

"is there anything you wanted to talk about?"he asks her with a smile.

"Well I don't know if you might agree but..,"she says as Tyler raises an eyebrow at her. "I was wondering if you'd maybe want o go out,"she says fast as she blushes.Tyler looks shocked and so are the rest of us.

"Let's just go,"Cass says dragging me out along with Josh. "I freaking hate him,"she curses as after we exit but Josh chuckles earning a glare from both of us.

"Hey,don't turn by girlfriend against me,"Josh says to Cass who rolls her eyes. "It's not like you even heard the end of it and you should be knowing him by now"

"Yeah well I don't know him.The Ty I knew died a long time back when I returned home to what I did,"Cass tells Josh angrily.

"Hey,if anything I could just punch him for you.Maybe make the face of his look better,"Josh says chuckling but I sense the assurance behind it.God what is wrong with him.Like what he has done isn't bad enough.How much more worse can he think of making him.

"You don't need to punch him,"I yell at Josh as Cass chuckles.

"That would be great,"Cass smirks as Josh nods. "In that case don't forget to take we as well.You punch him and I break his every bone.Maybe we both could even crave out his veins,"Cass chuckles along with Josh as I stare at them horrified.I know you could think of doing crazy stuff to you ex but this was just demented and the way they said it was as if it was as simple or normal as brushing your teeth.

"In one week time Cassy.We've have him buried in Alaska,"Josh say with resolve as he puts his arms around Cass and me,walking down the corridor

"Only after we had our fun,"Cass says cackling like a witch and somehow I see how they are such good friends.
